“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“I had been wanting to try Flavors for years and finally got the chance to do so last night. We had 2 different soups and 2 different wraps. Everything was delicious and we are excited to go back to try even more. The girl who greeted us gave us a run down of the menu, told us their specialities, and offered soup samples. Great customer service!!!“

“Been here a couple times and almost everything has been excellent. The bar especially makes a delicious cocktail. I can personally recommend the Pan fried walleye and the pork jezebel. The beets are great too if you’re into that. Only thing on the menu I wouldn’t get again is the carbonara. I love this dish but it’s not easy to serve at a restaurant. Texture is off putting unless it’s made to order and served immediately. Overall very nice place. Also very busy for good reason.“

“My wife and I recently went gluten free for health reasons. Learned of this place and have tried several of their items. All of them have been amazing! The only thing I might suggest is a light icing or no icing option on the donuts and cupcakes. While it’s VERY good- at times it is a little much. But give this place a try. Everything tastes great and the staff is super nice!!“

“We were traveling from Buffalo New York to Mahomet IL and stopped at the Smokey Bones in Dayton for dinner. We have a Smokey Bones in Buffalo which is excellent and expected the same service in Dayton, we were not disappointed! Smokey Bones has an extensive menu with a focus on smoked meats. We suggest their baby back ribs their signature dish.“

“Our 1st time visiting this restaurant was on November 4, 2024 in the evening. It was slightly busy at this location. I got a small bowl with steak, broccoli, kale, cucumbers, egg, cheese & yum yum sauce. I actually wanted a bowl with chicken but if you look up their nutrition facts and think that the chicken would be low carb....you would be absolutely WRONG!! I don't know what they do to their chicken but the carbs were ridiculous and that's why I went with the steak. The food was good but they don't give alot of kale.....which is a shame especially since its so chopped up and small. And you don't get alot of broccoli either....because it's so big, you may get 3 or 4 pieces. THAT should be chopped smaller! All in all I would go back again!“

“I am a travel nurse, and my husband and I love trying different fine dining restaurants. This was one of the best restaurants in the entire country that we’ve been to. In addition, our waiter Dane, was phenomenal. We brought our 2 year old son, and he laughed and played with him, creating the perfect dining experience, while recommending the best dishes. Could not recommend this restaurant enough, 5 star service, for sure.“
