“The best in the area by far, great prices too. The fried bread is even next level, try the katsu ffs, it's amazing. It's been good every time so easy to take the chance on trying new things.Vegetarian options: Bean curd everything!Parking: More than they would ever need.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access right in front.“
“Came here while picking up an order for Doordash and it smelled so good, we decided to order food when we were done with the shift. Definitely our new favorite place. The food is delicious and my wife loves the tofu.Vegetarian options: Sesame tofu is great, and they have several vegetable options“
“Wow! What a great place- and extremely authentic for this area of the country. I went for the Dan Dan noodles- and they did not disappoint! I overlooked the hand stretched noodle version, but tried it the next time I was nearby. Perfect noodle texture and consistency, seasonings were just right. I look forward to trying more of what they offer in the future.“
“The food is generally better than other buffets, but they stop refilling the buffet long before closing. I arrived 30 minutes before and 1/3 of the dishes were completely empty and were never refilled. Within 30 minutes, the majority of dishes were empty. I was hoping to at least sample from their whole selection.“
“Found this place while on a road trip. Honestly, it's not a very big place, but it's got a great atmosphere. The location is decent as well. As for the food, it offers a variety of Chinese and East Asian cuisine. Flavors were there, portion sizes were adequate, AND I didn't feel like I overpaid. Definitely worth the while.Vegetarian options: Minimal veggie options, but a lot of the dishes offered could be made vegetarian.“
“We always do takeout, and it's consistent and tasty, and a heap of food for the prices. Like old school 1997 American Chinese restaurant food... Comfortable and very yummy, and if you just get the veggies, possibly kinda healthy? Probably not but the Chow mee fun veggies always leaves me feeling less guilty than any other Chinese dish ?“
“Food was very good, service was also good, atmosphere was what you would expect from a mainly take out restaurant. We were going to a different Chinese restaurant for our weekly Chinese food cravings. The last time we went we had a bad experience so we decided to switch it up and try China Wok. We will not be going back to the other place.“
“Very unassuming and nice place. Very clean, staff is very attentive and kind, large variety of food. One of the few places in the area with steamed buns. Crab legs were available when I was there at lunchtime (I was there around 1-2) forgot to take photos! But I will be back! The food was fresh and they took out old dishes so they aren't sitting with the new food.“
“We found our place! Everything was amazing! Eggrolls, fried wontons, general tso's chicken, pepper steak & onion...delicious!! We've tried 2 other places in dayton and there's no need for us to try another. So far, this is the best in dayton. Thank you for great quality food!! Very impressed! Even though we picked up our order we are looking forward to dining in!“
“My first time eating at Royal Wok and it will not be my last. Excellent! General Tso's Chicken was dynamite!!! The steamed dumplings are tremendous and one dumpling is the size of two at any other restaurant. Crab rangoons are over stuffed and not all dough!! Absolutely fantastic!!! My husband got steamed shrimp and chicken and it was delicious!!! We will be regulars!“
“Very good food, all of the dishes. The rice is done very well. However the fried rice is quite different than we ever seen anywhere before your type. Love the steamed dumplings and your sauce with them. Your prices are very reasonable and fair! Great Service!“
“All the food tastes awesome. My husband got the beef with broccoli, I got the bourbon chicken with pork rice, we also ordered the crab ragoon and egg rolls. Everything was great. My son ( who has autism and severe food aversions) got the plain lo mein, and for once it was actually just PLAIN, and he ate every bite. There was an option to add veggies or meat, but I was so happy to find a place with an option for him. Absolutely my place to go for Chinese food from now on.“
“Very gorgeous place. We arrived a little over an hour before close, and the waitress was SO extreamly nice. The food was incredible, and everyone was friendly. Place was clean, and the dishes were served beautifully. Definitely will be back! My Fiancè got the chicken fried rice and I take one look and he finished the entire dish lol“
“This place has been my go to for Chinese the last year now and I love it they are usually busy which is good and the food is amazing reminds of my hometown nyc and how they make their Chinese food and they actually make fried rice which has been hard to find in Ohio. So yeah got me happy no complaints at all.“
“We are new to the area and trying to find our new go-to restaurants. New Great Wall QUICKLY became a favorite! The staff is friendly and kind, and their food is TOP NOTCH!Chicken is juicy and delicious and the crab Rangoon is possibly the best we have ever had!Don't sleep on this place! Definitely try it out! We haven't found anything we don't love yet! The only thing we wish is that there was an option to add extra egg to the fried rice. You won't be disappointed! TRY THIS PLACE! 10/10“
“Aesthetically, no different than any small takeout joint you've encountered. But you don't get Chinese takeout to stare at the walls. The lady at the counter was polite, warm, and that food was out at breakneck speed. The quality is where this place shines. Light bodied sauce that wasn't heavy on oil, perfectly cooked, and the best egg rolls I've had that I didn't make from scratch, myself.Solid result. Will definitely be back.“
“Large menu of dozens of items of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Served fresh and hot. Takes a little while to get the main dishes, but worth the wait. One big room for takeout and dine in, so can feel crowded at certain times, but not for long. Not too noisy. Adequate parking in front in its strip mall. Prices are moderate and the check shows a surcharge if you pay by credit card, so we pay by cash. At the time we visited in mid-February, the menu on its website was up to date.“
“We stopped by this restaurant from Dayton back home, and my family want to have some soup noodles which are not in the menu. The owner is super nice, she asked what we need and made it specially for my family. We feel treated like good friends The price is also very reasonable.“
“We love this place! The food has been good each time we come and the service is friendly. Considering all the food we get and how good it tastes, the price is great.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have options for appetizers, sushi, and main dishesKid-friendliness: They have high chairs“
“I have been ordering delivery for years, am always found! LUV & APPRECIATE my perfect order, complete with crisp veggies, steaming hot entrees, and personal service. There’s a reason I keep coming back…!Vegetarian options: Same order every time, unless I’m feeding company. There’s a reason I have been loyal for years. ❤️❤️❤️“
“Love this place... food is always hot and fresh. Never a wait no matter how busy. Spend over a certain amount and get free items... Prices are great as well. With tip and everything I never spend more than $40 to feed a family of 4. They even have lunch specials!!“
“Portions are great and can easily spread my meal over two days. Always enjoy getting the fried dumplings. Dinner entrees come with fried rice and egg roll, which is awesome. Pad Thai is good, as is the Mongolian beef, General Tso’s. Lots of options worth trying!“
“If you're tired of Chinese/japanese restaurants that have bland, under seasoned food and impatient service, then come here!!! We stopped by on a whim and was blown away! Great flavor, amazing selection, and very nice service.Don't think twice, if you're wondering wether you should try it or not, stop wondering and trust that you won't be disappointed!“
“I ordered their orange chicken dinner combo with hot n sour soup and beef lo mean. It was absolutely amazing. I moved to Dayton about a year and a half ago and I feel like a lot of other fast casual Chinese food places just didn't have that much depth in the flavor, or it just lacked something that I missed from my hometown. I'm probably picky as I'm originally from a big city with a lot of options, but hands down this place has my heart for Chinese food here in Dayton. I can't wait to try more dishes! The only complaint I have is that the hot n sour soup was bland, but I usually like mine with a lot of flavor and punch. This place is so good along with the bright moon buffet. My two fav Chinese places!!“
“I've been going here for years! I like it better than China Cottage but not as much as CJ Chan. I take Dragon China to my family frequently 10 miles away! Always get the hot pepper oil on the side! My order is always right, hot and fresh!! ?“
“This restaurant has been my go-to for tasty Asian meals. The food is flavorful and fresh, and it doesn't leave you feeling as if it were made with too much grease. The prices are super reasonable as well. If you can place your order before 3:30, there is a great selection of meals to choose from on the lunch menu. My personal favorite is the Mongolian beef or chicken.Asian Star is definitely worth a try!“
