“Went here for a relaxed, Wedding rehearsal dinner. They were very accommodating of our party. We had about 15 adults and three children and the prices were great. Big shout out to general manager, Jo, who was masterfully, crafting cocktails at the bar with great attention to detail. The kids love the free ice cream.“

“You can tell a lot about a place by how they treat people right before closing, and Papa’s Pizza Palace absolutely passed that test for us. We showed up about 10 minutes before they closed and honestly almost turned around because we didn’t want to be those last-minute customers keeping everyone there late. We felt bad even walking in that close to closing time, but the blonde girl working up front immediately made us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Not once did she seem annoyed or rushed, which honestly surprised us because a lot of places would have made us feel like a burden for coming in so late. She took our order with a smile, answered a couple questions we had, and genuinely acted happy to help us. That kind of customer service is getting harder and harder to find these days, especially late at night when employees are probably exhausted and ready to go home. It really stood out to us and completely changed what could have been an awkward experience into a really positive one. The owners should be proud to have someone like her working there because she represented the business so well and made such a great impression on us. And the pizza itself was amazing. Fresh, hot, loaded with toppings, and honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. You could tell they still cared about the quality even right before closing. We actually drove about 30 minutes to try this place after winning a gift certificate, and after this experience, we’d gladly make that drive again even without one. Between the great food and the genuinely kind customer service, Papa’s Pizza Palace definitely earned repeat customers out of us. Places that still treat people this well deserve recognition, and we’ll absolutely be back.“

“Love this place! Food is great and the service is even better. Our pizza was caught in the oven making a few slices damaged, the manager brought out the pizza so we didn’t have to wait longer to eat but also made a smaller pizza to compensate for the damage. The service is top level here!“

“Hubby & I just had lunch here a bit ago. We've never eaten here before. We shared a steak hoagie with onions, mushrooms, pickles and cheese. We got the parmesan bites and an order of fries. “Ok, first off I absolutely love this pizza. Dayton style is rather unique, very thin, almost cracker like crust. Cut into very small squares, just love it.
The sausage they use in the pizza is just incredibly flavorful and makes me want to come back.

My one complaint with this place, and I register it every time I eat here is having to pay for my pizza, then go get in another line and pay for my drink. I assume because they sell alcohol they can’t let the youngsters run that counter.

Seriously Marion’s, move into the 1970’s. This is just ridiculous in 2026.

I would honestly double my visits if it wasn’t for that stupid setup.

“Ordered a mushroom steak and pretzel sticks, im definitely outside of there delivery area. Place my order and they were quite busy so I told them no rush I do know I’m outside your area . Was expecting hour or maybe two wait . Not 30 minutes later my food is here and it’s so hot I can hardly eat it . ( I love my food super hot right out of the oven ) those pretzel sticks are life changing . Great place to eat . Do not skip out on the pizza either it’s our family favorite“

“I’ve always enjoyed this restaurant but I noticed something last night that disturbed me. I asked the waitress if they had a smaller serving of their Peasant salad. She said sure and brought a very small serving which was just what I ordered. When I got the bill the charge was $9 which is the regular full size price. Same thing happened with our dining partner. This has happened before. I hope the owner reads this. It’s a little deceptive.“

Grew up on Marion’s pizza. Love their sausage pizza. Wonderful. Very low key. Walk up and order at the counter. They call your number and you pickup your pizzas at counter and take to your table. Very easy. Always nice and friendly.“

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. “I've been here many times. They generally do a job and the food is great.

My visit today deserves a special call out. I had a group of 4 adults and one toddler. We were hectic, all over the place with our ordering, had to go back to the counter a few times to get more sauces, boxes, etc. The gentlemen making our pizzas was very friendly, kind, and patient with us.

I also enjoy the large variety of toppings. Better variety than any other popular pizza joint.“

“I placed a pick up order for the $3 personal pizza special they do on Tuesdays. When I arrived, there were people waiting already. I was greeted with a smile, even though it seemed they were very busy & behind. They got orders out quickly, however mine was taking longer than usual. In the mean time, the workers made a point to update me multiple times, and each time they had a positive attitude throughout this overwhelming rush. “I door dash a pizza and it was horrible looking, cold, and had onions on it 🤮I had to drive to the verity location to see if they could fix it although I knew I would have to go through door dash. When I came in and explained what happened and showed them the pizza, they immediately started working on a new pizza and let me know what all I needed to do to contact door dash. “Delivery and carryout only. No dine in. They ran a special for the grand opening of a 4 corner 1 topping pizza which I got for $4.44. The regular price is $11.99 and it's not on the app or the menu. I feel $11.99 is too high for a small pizza. Each ingredient added is $1.79 I believe. After 3 attempts at ordering this pizza and having to into the store to do so I am not very likely to do it again. It shouldn't be that difficult to order. Why don't they put everything on the app? After work I'm tired and I just want to go grab it. Not go into the store to order then wait for it. They have not given me napkins either. You can't get the app discounts when you order in the store either. The pizza is pretty good though.“

“My sister and I go to this location quite often after church on Sunday afternoons and we always have good experiences with everything. The only thing I could suggest is when someone orders garlic bread or breadsticks that the waitress ask if they want cheese on them. They come with cheese which I don’t like and it’s not the same if I have to scrape it off. It seems like those items would be plain unless someone asks for the cheese. They did make me a new order of garlic bread recently but I don’t like them to have to waste food. I just have to remember to say no cheese!“

“I was going to give them one star.Because the driver set my food down on the wet ground in the rain directly outside my door so I couldn't even open my door. i'm in a wheelchair and could not get my food outside of my door. I had to call someone to get it for me. I was obviously pretty upset and called the store. I was able to speak to the gm, Ryan to express my concerns about the delivery and how the driver just left my food. I was going to tip the driver cash but he didn't get a tip because of how he left the food on the ground and just left quickly. I paid with a credit card and I don't know if he thought he was not going to get a tip because of it , but he really screwed himself out of a cash tip. After speaking to ryan , I did not ask for a credit or for anything at all. However, he offered me a credit on my account for my next order.Which I appreciate greatly. While the delivery was not very good , I am very satisfied with the way ryan handled the situation. I never have a complaint about the quality of food from the location. The way Ryan handled my call and complaint gives them four stars instead of the one star that I was going to leave. I appreciate you Ryan.“

“I've ordered several times from Jet's. The pizza is pretty good. Not great, but good. They did put on extra sauce, but not really that much extra. Sauce is bland. Toppings were fine. Crust was completely cooked but a little chewy. I got the hand-tossed crust; the thick crust is better, but it is a lot of bread.

The trouble is the long time for delivery. Admittedly, the website said, 75-80 minutes; I just didn't notice. It took 70, so you can say they did better; but that's just a long time for delivery. The store is 1.5 miles away. Driver was apologetic, I tipped him; I didn't believe it was his fault; he said he's the *only* driver.
