6 Best Pizza Restaurants in Middletown

“We have been wanting to try steel city for awhile. I’ve followed them on instagram for a good bit. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. We got a pepperoni and a margarita pizza. The crust was perfect, sauce was wonderful and just an all around great pizza, dare I say delightful. I’m so glad this building is finally being used. I’m born and raised in the Middie and I really try and support local restaurants. Give this place a try. Neat atmosphere with them being attached to NEW Ales Brewery.“

“I tried the Vienna lager and a Dunkel. Both beers were just right in the sense that they weren't overly hopped which is an issue I have at many breweries. I don't really like IPAs and the bitterness. These beers were sweet,flavorful and crisp. Pizza was pretty good, thick crust but crispy and made with freshly prepared dough. I just had their cheese pizza. Overall I enjoyed the experience, may have to stop in again sometime.“

“Finally gave this place a try and it was great. Ordered a large pepperoni and the cheesy garlic bread. The large pizza is LARGE, and there's a ton of cheese. It's square cut but the slices are good sized, given the pile of toppings. Bread was quality too, heavy on the garlic which is a positive.“

“Pizza is really Good and with the house made garlic butter that you can use on anything even bagels. There cheezy garlic bread is the bomb. The price for pizza is on the higher end. But the appetizers are decent priced. They also serve bottles of beer here.“

While the staff was friendly, there were some noticeable issues with the speed and attentiveness of the service. It took quite a while for our orders to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. Additionally, We had to wait for a table for around 20 minutes.Despite these service hiccups, I would still recommend LaRosa's for the fantastic pizza alone. If they can work on improving the efficiency and attentiveness of their service, it would truly elevate the dining experience to a whole new level.Overall, I give LaRosa's a solid 4 stars.
