“Great place to hang out !!!!”

“Food was great but the friendly service makes it special. We decided to try this cute restaurant tonight that we saw while driving around last week. So glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were treated like friends by the two gentlemen that own/run the restaurant. We don’t usually like overly friendly service but they didn’t make us feel intruded at all. They have a variety of food but we chose the crab rangoons, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and pepper steak. The egg rolls could have been a meal on their own with what was inside and absolutely delicious. The crab rangoons were perfect and the dipping sauce was great and I normally don’t dip them. Our meals were just how we liked and you could tell it was all fresh. The pepper steak wasn’t over run by onions like other places seem to do which was perfect. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for desert but next time we will be sure to save space as I read they are worth it. Can’t wait to go back.”

“This place is great! The atmosphere is excellent and will be the first thing you notice. Real rustic modern kind of vibe. The wine will be the next thing you notice. High quality and affordable. We got a charcuterie tray and I can tell you it was the nicest we've ever had anywhere. Takes a while but there is a good reason! It all put together by hand with a large variety of snacks and jellies! Love this place.”

“Dine in or drive-thru the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. I eat at the Middletown location at least once or twice a month and they have never messed up an order and I've never had to wait long. The employees personable and well trained and they keep their dining room clean.I have nothing bad to say about this place.”

“Store on Roosevelt in Middletown is going through a remodel. Pick up only, had to ring the bell 3 times to get someone to answer. Then order, which was mobile ordered at 7:30 and was supposed to be ready at 9:15, had not even been started. It was piping hot 15 minutes later though, but making someone wait outside while you make it is unacceptable customer service.”

“Usually when I come in I just get a cinnamon matcha. Today I decided to add a rather large butterfinger brownie. This is one of the best brownies I think I’ve ever had. This is like a giant piece of cake.”

“Our first visit to Angry Chicken House was truly amazing and we will definitely be back. We had a party of four and 2 ordered the Angry chicken wrap, 1 ordered the fish sandwich special, and I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with a side upgrade to onion rings. Everyone thought the food was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful. After eating here I will struggle to go to Roosters or any other chicken and wings restaurants. Veteran owned and great food with fresh not frozen chicken!”

“First off, all employees were amazing. Super sweet and helpful. We had never been there before so we weren’t familiar with the menu and they were so kind. Serving size on the “not your nachos” were HUGE! I barely made it thru half the plate but they were soooo good! Fried Mac and cheese bites were honestly the best I’ve ever had. So glad I finally gave this place a chance. I usually hate trying new places because I’m so picky but this place was DELICIOUS!”

“Love the newly remodeled Verity Pkwy location. It looks much more inviting and clean inside. The bathroom was clean as well. The food was delish! I love the Vic's Big Cheese with green olives. It is the best! The staff was super nice and helpful, which made our visit more pleasant. I do also like the new drive thru. It is so convenient.

Parking: Parking is limited and a bit awkward.”

“I felt the desperate need to come on here and make a comment about my food. It was PHENOMENAL. I have never tasted any sandwich in my life as delectable as this one; hot ham swiss and cheese with mayo. It was juicy, fresh, hot, and don't get me started on the fries, fresh as always and seasoned perfectly. When I took my first bite o was in shambles, hitting the table and tapping my toe in delight. Continue to keep this place busy and open cuz it was absolutely breathtaking.?”

“I’ve been considering trying this place for a while. I was deterred from doing so due to the prices. But, I do prefer to support local, small businesses so on this glorious Sunday I decided to. I ordered the Philly egg rolls, chicken tenders, cheese fries and a strawberry shortcake ice cream cookie. The Philly egg rolls were just-okay. The sides of them were quite soggy from the grease from leaking on each other. My suggestion would be to put these in a larger container where they can separately lay flat to possibly prevent some of the grease from spilling onto each other. Not sure what the solution is here because phillys are known to be greasy. The parts that were crunchy were delicious! I would also reconsider serving these with the sweet n sour sauce and switching to a house made ranch or even nacho cheese for the ranch haters. I can appreciate the egg roll/sweet n sour combo but not with a Philly cheese egg roll. The flavors did not flow well together in my opinion. I would also suggest adding a cheese sauce to the cheese fries. The strawberry shortcake cookie was good. The ice cream was delicious! But, the cookies were HARD. I would consider making the cookies softer. My cookie was also brown a bit on the bottom so I’m not sure if overcooking attributed to that hardness. If prices decrease in the future, I would return and try some other things on the menu. But at this point, the food falls short and the prices ($13 for a milkshake in Middletown?) are just not it. I do hope this small business thrives. The prices match more of a West Chester/Dayton mall area restaurant. Just not small town-blue collar Middletown, in my opinion (you know what they say about those ). Best of luck!”

“We've loved the Jug since I was a kid in the 80s. The burgers are as awesome now as they were back then and fast friendly service. Always reminds me of being a kid and the food is always excellent and hot! Definitely recommend for a quick bite on a nice day!”

“Penn Station is one of the very few places I'm always in the mood for. My typical order consists of a pizza sub, and a large serving of fries that me and my family shares. The difference between Penn Station and another sub place is Subway is night and day. Penn Station's pizza subs have WAY more pepperoni than Subway's, and Subway's has just too much sauce it in that ends up spilling onto your wrapper. The Penn Station pizza sub has a way more smoky flavor as well closer to that of an actual pizza, whereas Subway's is more closer to an actual sandwich. On top of that, Penn Station's fries are some of, if not, the single best fries I've had in my life. They're have the perfect, and I mean perfect, amount of crispy and saltiness to them that no other restaurant I've had has been able to surpass. If you get Penn Station, you have to get the fries.

Vegetarian options: Penn Station's vegetarian selection is pretty limited, the only things that really don't have any meat in them are the grilled veggie sandwich and salad. With the grilled veggie sandwich you are seemingly allowed to customize it, which does expand your pallet a little. This means that if you were vegetarian and went to Penn Station you would either have to have a grilled vegetable sandwich or a salad, with a side of fries, a cookie, or of course, nothing. Giving you a total of six possible combinations.

Parking: This Penn Station has a pretty big parking lot, I haven't really noticed how many cars are in the parking lot at any given moment but I can't really imagine that it's going to be too much of an issue.

Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes sandwiches or Subway than they're pretty much guaranteed to like Penn Station.”
