“I feel like White Castle is something you have to be in the mood for, and when you are, despite the location, it's gonna hit the same. To be clear:
1 star = hated it
2 stars = disliked
3 stars = it's okay
4 stars = liked it
5 stars = loved it
So i am not trying to say White Castle is absolutely fantastic. That would be ridiculous. BUT after a couple of gummies and in the right moment, White Castle can be awesome, for that first burger. I can't eat more than 2, though, and that's pushing it.

Staff is usually younger, but I've never had an issue with staff at any location. This particular location was great. Very nice guy who tried to do what he can to make his customer smile while passing, though the effort is appreciated.

“Good selection of draft beer and decent pool tables/cues. They keep keep up with them and always have cue chalk on the tables. Very clean looking inside as well.“

“We've loved the Jug since I was a kid in the 80s. The burgers are as awesome now as they were back then and fast friendly service. Always reminds me of being a kid and the food is always excellent and hot! Definitely recommend for a quick bite on a nice day!“

“I’ve been considering trying this place for a while. I was deterred from doing so due to the prices. But, I do prefer to support local, small businesses so on this glorious Sunday I decided to. I ordered the Philly egg rolls, chicken tenders, cheese fries and a strawberry shortcake ice cream cookie. The Philly egg rolls were just-okay. The sides of them were quite soggy from the grease from leaking on each other. My suggestion would be to put these in a larger container where they can separately lay flat to possibly prevent some of the grease from spilling onto each other. Not sure what the solution is here because phillys are known to be greasy. The parts that were crunchy were delicious! I would also reconsider serving these with the sweet n sour sauce and switching to a house made ranch or even nacho cheese for the ranch haters. I can appreciate the egg roll/sweet n sour combo but not with a Philly cheese egg roll. The flavors did not flow well together in my opinion. I would also suggest adding a cheese sauce to the cheese fries. The strawberry shortcake cookie was good. The ice cream was delicious! But, the cookies were HARD. I would consider making the cookies softer. My cookie was also brown a bit on the bottom so I’m not sure if overcooking attributed to that hardness. If prices decrease in the future, I would return and try some other things on the menu. But at this point, the food falls short and the prices ($13 for a milkshake in Middletown?) are just not it. I do hope this small business thrives. The prices match more of a West Chester/Dayton mall area restaurant. Just not small town-blue collar Middletown, in my opinion (you know what they say about those ). Best of luck!“

“On Monday, June 3rd. The Middletown’s Police Chief along with others from the FOPA held a friendly competition. They had nominated 9 local restaurants in our “Best Burger in Middletown” showdown. Middletown’s own “Swire Inn” took home the WIN!!! They had entered the Swire Inn Burger. Harmonizing with goodness & singing to our souls. This burger was inviting & tantalizing. “They are always nice, respectful, and they pay attention to my order because I am a picky eater so 99% of the time my food is made correctly. They make the best salads out of all the food places around Middletown. They have also been changing their 3rd frosty flavor every few months and they have all been amazing. Had I thought about it, I would have suggested that he keep a small note pad with him for quick reminder notes. This helped me in my past waitress jobs. “My husband and I live around the Kings Island area and we travel about 35 to 40 minutes to get to this Hardees.
The manager is so friendly and the employees are warm and welcoming people. Great employees. Constantly making our breakfast experience better.
