Corporate, PLEASE come observe this Cassano's in Centerville. They need help. It used to be really good. The food was the worst I've ever seen it, and I've been going to Cassano's for 40+ years. The store didn't have the ability to do 2 hand-tossed pizzas (like we ordered), but they decided to make us a thin-crust and 1 hand-tossed. They gave us $5 off. Thanks.
We went and picked up the order, opened the hand-tossed pizza box at home, and immediately noticed a huge difference in the appearance of the hand-tossed. We don't know what happened, but the outer 3"-4" had some sort of substance on it all around. Someone in the family thought it looked like a worker might have spilled something on it. ?♀️ No one will eat it. Both pizzas and the breadsticks were soggy, too. ? We called the Call Center, and the fabulous guy that answered gets a 5 star review (thank you, whomever you were). But unfortunately, the night is left with me figuring out dinner for everyone, as it's getting taken back.
Sincerely, Corporate...PLEASE go fix this location asap. I want to continue ordering Cassano's, but it will be a long while before I ever do. Thanks!
**After the pizza and breadsticks were taken back, we were told it was a bunch of garlic butter poured on it. Please, workers, go out into the dining area. Take a look at the old photos. Those people worked hard to give Cassano's a good name. We want to see this restaurant stay open. Corporate, again, please step in and see what can be done to make this branch produce quality and present pizza that represents more than just food, but a history of hard work. Maybe pay the people more, if that helps motivate them to try harder. Maybe have weekly meetings? Something, to get the staff to enjoy giving their best. Thanks?

This is the BEST location! I ate both medium pizzas that I ordered and didn't share because it was so good!! Staff is very friendly.

Was told online that my order would be ready in 30 minutes. I walked in 28 minutes later and was told that my order still had 20 minutes to go. I wouldn't have had an issue at all to have picked up my order an hour or even an hour and a half after placing it. However I do have an issue with the 20 minute layover. We ordered food from several places. Each of the other establishments gave shorter ready times and came through on those orders. Cassano's not only fell short, but hadn't even started on the order. (There was only a personal pie in the oven when I walked in). If wait times are longer, that's fine. Underpromise and overdeliver. Don't overpromise and underdeliver. There are usually already delivery and timing issues here. This will likely be our last time ordering.

I love the pizza and this location. But the guy that met us at the counter to take our order this evening literally tried to talk us out of ordering. I get that it's a stressful Saturday evening, but you shouldn't make your customers feel like they're an inconvenience!
