I'm a huge coffee fan. I decided to go caffeine free. The thing about people who want decaf coffee is that we really love coffee. We aren't just drinking it for the effect. The problem with most coffee shops is that their decaf coffee is usually an afterthought and pretty gross. ContempoRoast isn't like that. I don't know of any other place that has a decaf cold brew, let alone one that tastes great. I give their decaf two thumbs up. Their regular coffee is wonderful, too, as is their matcha. I highly recommend!

I love that this coffee shop doesn't overlook tea lovers. We're hooked on the iced milk oolong tea with a little honey; it has a complex flavor with floral notes. We enjoy watching the baristas make it—they brew it fresh with loose-leaf tea. Love seeing them treat tea as a craft. We also enjoy their iced chai latte. Will definitely be returning to try more teas! I also appreciate that they're set up for you to stay and lounge or work. And the employees are very nice—the cherry on top!

This coffee shop is amazing!! My friends and I tried it on a whim the other day and I’ve been back twice since then! I literally drive 30 minutes from Dayton to come here, the coffee and matcha are both really really good and the brown sugar pastry is delicious! The baristas are super super nice and welcoming and are great with questions and recommendations. I’d recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the area!

First time visiting and we got a decaf drip and a Sunset off the summer menu. Holy moley ill for sure be back to try more things. Very excited for the allergen (gluten free and vegan) muffin options. I got the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin and a coffee cake muffin.

Almost $7 for a 12 ounce mocha... is outrageous. Absolutely insane.

I stopped in before work this morning and they were so nice and helpful! They are having a new espresso machine installed (how exciting!) so she walked me through their cold brew and other coffee options. I’m going to come back with my laptop next time I need a cozy place to work. Bonus: it’s much easier to access than the Dunkin across the road.

Recently stopped in for the first and last time for a “to go” latte. The price on the menu didn’t match what I was charged. When I asked about it the barista said it was tax and became very condescending and dismissive. The coffee also wasn’t hot. (BTW coffee is considered a food item as is milk and when ordered to go, is non-taxable in Ohio)

Great welcoming, relaxed atmosphere as soon as I walked in! When I told my barista that I'd never been here before, he was incredibly knowledgeable about what to try out, and made excellent recommendations based on my tastes. My Vanilla Cold Brew Latte was delicious! Helped me busy through the rest of my morning.

I kind of want to keep this little gem a secret so it doesnt get ruined by all the people but that wouldnt be fair. This is hands down the best coffee shop in town!! All the rest are mids. Great job!
