I've been going to Las Piramides since they opened, in fact my colleagues took me there for a lunch to celebrate my birthday that summer. I think the bar, which is tucked into a small room to the left of the entrance is an often overlooked treasure! The vintage seats are amazing and actually comfortable--which can be surprising for chairs at high tops.This building has its roots in the Centerville City School District served as their very first building. Unbelievably, they have the original wood floors--they're to die for! However, it's uneven in places and can present a trip hazard so do be careful. Their outdoor seating has always been nice as it's not just a corner of the parking lot as it is so many places. That will be particularly nice this summer since we will continue the need to be covid-careful.
Inside of the restaurant smelled musty for some reason so we decided to sit outside in the patio. Someone needs to have better weights on their umbrellas because several times it felt like the table was going to lift off with moderate wind as a storm was coming in. As for the food, portions were good sized. I got the fajitas and the pieces of green pepper and tomato were just too big. I would have preferred smaller pieces so it would be easier to put in the tortilla. Flavor was okay. My friend ordered their rancheros, but it came out with a red sauce instead of a white sauce like most other places have. The tortillas with the rancheros were quite soggy as if they were boiled. The chicken also seemed quite rubbery. The server was very attentive and food did come out quickly.

Don’t let the light parking lot fool you. This place fires on all cylinders. Open during the pandemic, service is fast and friendly, chips and salsa are exceptional, food is fresh, simple and delicious. Atmosphere is typical but clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Service was speedy and the food was good. However, the huge clumps of dust hanging from the ceiling and cobwebs in the corners put me off my meal a bit.
