Old Scratch Pizza & Beer

I’ll start by saying, we use to love Old Scratch Pizza. However, we will not be back. I placed a takeout order from the Dayton location. It stated it would be ready by 7:16pm. I arrived early, around 7:10, knowing I would still have a wait. But that time frame was perfect so I could have dinner with my husband on his lunch break. Someone greeted me after a few minutes and got my name. By 7:26 no one had came back to my car. I called in to the store because I had my little with me. They said oh yea we got a rush but I’ll check with the kitchen. A few minutes later someone came to my car who was very dry and you could tell it was a pain for her to even be coming to talk to me. She stated it would be another 5-10 minutes. She said they could just refund me. I then said well what good would that do id still have to get dinner somewhere else and I’ve already missed being able to have dinner with my husband. At this point, very dryly she stated I could have the food and get a refund if I wanted to wait. My little was screaming about her pizza so waited the extra 10 minutes. By this time it was 7:40pm when we finally got our food. THEN when we got to open the pizzas, none of them had the extras I had paid for. I am wholeheartedly disappointed because we did love old scratch but this experience did it for me. We will see if I actually get the refund or not.

Self seating, order at register. They bring food to u.
I loved this place. They dont have a ton of options but they dont mind u making a request.

The beekeeper was nice. A little sweet from the honey but not overpowering. I preferred it closer to room temperature than right out of the oven.but thats my preference

The bartender was very nice and let us sample different beer on tap till i found 1 i liked

The place has super tall ceilings and feels open the music is perfect just enough to not hear ur neighbor but can chat at ur table perfectly

I got the Mr. scratch pizza with impossible meat instead of sausage. It was so good ! The red sauce was so different than other pizza places. It seemed fresh. I have found my new favorite.

Great place to come and have food and drinks with the family. Our little ones love the mickey shaped kids pizzas!
The pizza is delicious and the roasted cauliflower was surprisingly amazing!
* I wish they'd bring back the blood orange margarita!!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid/family friendly! The bar even has soft serve ice cream for the kids
