Tuscany's Italian Restaurant

I'm in Centerville Ohio today showing condos. I love finding small, family-owned restaurants that have been in business for more than a minute. I asked the Google Machine to take me to the best local Italian restaurant, and it sent me to Tuscany's Italian Restaurant and what a treat it was. The owner makes her own dough daily for her thin crust pizzas and bakes it in a gas oven instead of the track ovens used by many. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had n a long time. The owner is from Jordan but her mother is Italian and taught her how to make fabulous Italian dishes and pizza. I highly recommend this place.

Food is so delicious! You can smell the goodness as soon as you enter the restaurant. We loved this place!

I came in here to pick up a doordash order and your staff was very rude. The "manager" in a red sweater on 11.30.2024 decided it was best to get in my face to "educate" me on a policy she was not correct about, she was very argumentative and had to have the last word instead of listening. No wonder I never see many people in here anymore.

Going to edit, ma'am your reply just proves my review correct. Don't worry, I already called doordash and told them to never send me another order from this restaurant and made a report. This unprofessional way you responded is the same way you got in my face. Your manager should be correcting that but I can tell you've only been enabled. I'm really sorry to whoever owns this place, because a bad manager can make or break a business. Even if I am "only a dasher".

Over the years of going there I have had a great time there service is amazing and the design of the place is beautiful they even have a bar and if you have a sweet tooth there desserts are amazing the pizza is not all that i like it but the cheese does not taste that well (still kinda good) and the sauce is not the best but the other foods are good but if you are gonna get a pizza then you should get extra sauce

The food is the best you could ever have, and I definitely recommend it. You definitely need to try the garlic bread and lasagna. The service is great with employees always offering to help with anything. Lastly the restaurant itself is beautiful coming from someone who has been there many times. 100% recommended

Service and experience at this establishment was absolutely Horrible! First, who ever heard of an Italian restaurant that can't make buttered pasta for a 6 year old ?? Seriously, you don't have butter and pasta on hand?

Moving past this ridiculousness, we ordered a pizza with 3 toppings on half and cheese on half, waitress said okay. Next the waitress returned and said, we can't put toppings on half. Seriously, you can add toppings for 3.00 each (listed on the menu) but you can't add them to half??? Seems as a business owner you'd be saving money only using half the ingredients, and giving the customer what they ordered. So, I kindly told her we didn't want the pizza and to just bring our bill for our drinks and salads. The waitress said she can't do that because the pizza is already in the oven with toppings on the whole pizza? Again, Seriously...you make a pizza not as ordered and expect the customer to just eat it with a 6 year old with food allergies. Again, the same 6 year old who can't get pasta noodles with butter in an Italian restaurant. Really!?

Next, the manager comes to the table and becomes overly defensive and kept asking if we had time to read the menu...Again, Seriously...Your menu says they have Ranch AND Italian salad dressing, but the waitress said they only have Italian? The menu says you can customize your pizza at 3.00 per topping, but you can't. The side salads were little with wilted lettuce for 6.00, and the ONLY dressing they had was awful.

Setting all of that aside, the manager was overly aggressive, defensive and used profanity in the presence of a child. That's where it all ended and showed us what this restaurant is about.

As a business owner you need to understand that customers are what keeps your doors open!
Your goal should be to provide the perfect guest experience, making accommodations when necessary, and never becoming confrontational in the presence of children.

While it was our first time at this restaurant, I'm 100% sure I would never go back!!! Equally, I'll be sure to inform others in the community about this horrible experience.

Why are you going to ANY other Italian restaurant when this one right here offers homemade food at a great price with a smile?
First time I went was for lunch and I got a calzone add anchovies. The anchovies weren't overpowering at all!
2nd time I had to take my wife. My friend during our first visit got the chicken parm so I HAD to get it and there was PLENTY for leftovers. My wife got the trio which included chicken parm, sausage and shells. Wow! We were blown away. I'm telling you, I don't need to go to the local competitors for Italian. You shouldn't either. So I told her we would come back for pizza. Decided to order pizza tonight. Yum! Sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms, NY style. The crust can be crispier for NY style but I still loved it having lived in NY myself it's the closest to NY I'll get imo! If you haven't been here, you're missing out! Pack this place!

Lovely local restaurant! Manager was very friendly and attentive. Staff waited on us immediately and brought whatever we asked for quickly. Food was delicious and prepared fresh.

Food was okay, Chicken was a little dry. The server was not even aware we had ordered and came out to get our order again. A chicken salad was 26$ the most expensive thing that we had ordered, they did not tell us the price beforehand and when we asked to see the menu to see if that was right they said it was not on the menu and in their “system”. Do not go here unless you plan on spending a crazy amount of money. 130$ for three people.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and every time i go there I’ll try something new. I found everything amazing and I thought of celebrating my birthday party there and then i spoke to the manager she was so humble and polite to me.

We ordered a huge amount of food which are calamari,bruschetta’s and Garlic rolls with marinara sauce as an appetizers.Chicken parm, veal parm, meat lovers calzone, baked ziti with meat sauce, shrimp Alfredo,trio delight, deluxe calzone, meat lovers pizza, Tuscany’s pizza and deluxe pizza as dinner and everything is on time and with the perfection.
Their service was so good and for every 5-10 minutes they keep giving us the refills of the drinks.
coming to the deserts I had the best lemoncello cake and the tiramisu which i never had this before anywhere they were so good.
