The subs are tasty but don't get the combos. I want the fountain drink and chips which on the sign saws $2.49. I was charged for the chips and the fountain drink separately at $2.29 each. I questioned the worker about the over charging and the Point of Sales selection comes up free, he was told by management to charge separately for each item nor would he refund me my $2.20 over payment. The Berea, Ohio location is a rip off!
I never thought I'd have another italian sub sandwich again after I stopped eating meat in the late '90s (yeah, people can do it for that long and still be alive. Amazing, right?). And then I saw that Dave's Cosmic Subs has vegan options. Well now I'm enjoying them again thanks to this place. I can't believe I've waited this long to try anything from them, but I'm making up for it now.
Helpful staff, delicious food, and incredible location all come together to make Dave's in Toledo a soom to be staple of our downtown landscape! The downtown area has needed something like this for a long time.
