Went here for a birthday and boy was it a great choice. Service was perfect, food top notch. They brought us each a small glass of champagne on the house for celebrating the birthday. The atmosphere was really nice. Just all around a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend getting a reservation, especially if its friday/Saturday (weekend) because the place was PACKED.

Friendly staff, food is always excellent (taste and quality), and while price is not cheap, it is certainly still reasonable. Will always come back when we need a meal option in that area (we live a moderate drive away; so, we go when we are near and need a dining option close by).

We had reservations on 10/31 at 7:30pm. Food was good but service was below average. Ordered the clam chowder and never received it. Waitress asked us how our meal was on our last bite. Server never bothered to ask if I wanted a drink refill until the last moment before we left. Atmosphere wasn’t glamorous sitting behind the hostess stand and next to the door. I just wanted to get my bill and leave. This will most likely be our last visit. Servers and atmosphere can make or break a restaurant experience.

French fries were served cold but replaced when asked. Tomato basil soup of the day was very thick and tasted more like a pasta sauce. The pastrami was very good. However, the marble rye was not toasted and soggy on the bottom
