Coffee Roasters near Chesterland

“Owner Tom has created a "specialty roaster" shop selling coffee beans from around the world. He will grind the beans for you. Each coffee has a description of the notes you may taste, and the location it's from. A lot of coffees are from Africa, which are my favorite with their rich, not deep roasted, flavor. Gail, his assistant, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a nice conversation. Beans come in three bag sizes, or buy for large consumption, and I purchased a one pound bag. You may buy a subscription to receive coffees thru out the year, and join the coffee club to learn about new coffees and get specials. Items from Geauga County were also on sale--honey, syrup and a few items that change with availability. All kinds of coffee pots are for sale, and Gail will explain them. This shop has that little extra gift for someone, or bring a basket to fill as a gift.“

“I have taken interest with bourbon over the past year. As a customer of dozens of liquor stores, and frequent participant in the OHLQ special events, I can say that Pat O'Briens is unmatched compared to any other liquor store I have ever shopped nationwide. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and organized regardless of the pandemonium that may be taking place at any given time. Even when hundreds of bourbon chasers are waiting in line outside, employees like Heidi shows equal respect to each customer, and provides genuine customer service. The past OHLQ release event that took place on December 11th was pulled off flawlessly by this store for being organized, and true to their customers. Unfortunately, certain liquor stores owned locally in Cleveland either abuse the liquor laws, or pick favorites with certain customers on who has the opportunity to shop for rare allocated bourbons. That is not the case with POB. They are fair, honest and clearly operate their business with integrity. POB is iconic for being a small locally owned family business in our community. I would rather give POB a portion of my paycheck for a product over any other store in town. This local business loves it customers, and has hard earned this positive review based on countless times they have provided me excellent service. Thank you POB!“

“I used to go out for coffee most days, as I'm up early and there's a Peet's nearby. No more. Since I subscribed, beans arrive in the mail fresher than fresh, and I enjoy the most delicious coffee and delight visitors with a cup at every opportunity. I'm sipping a cup now. Just can't be beat.“

“I’ve only been there once and it was a long time ago and really enjoyed everything about our visit. Went up there this morning March 30, 2024 and couldn’t find it. Attempted to call but no answer. Hope they’re still open, but definitely exterior signage needs to be improved. We must’ve circled area for five minutes with no luck.“
