Easily my favorite restaurant in town. Food is perfect homestyle recipes. Staff are always really nice and attentive. Feels like you’re eating in grandmas kitchen. I usually get the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. Went with the kicking Mac and cheese today which has just enough spice to make it interesting. The chicken and noodles is also very good. And save some room for the banana pudding.

We fell in love with Bell Farms on our visit to Chillicothe for spring break! We are from mid-Michigan and don’t have many quaint family owned restaurants like this around us. We were blown away! Not only was the service amazing (Amy took great care of us!), but the food was to die for. The chicken and noodles, brisket and noodles, and meatloaf were delicious and pure comfort! Our first experience, we came in a half hour before closing, but Amy was gracious and took care of us quickly! Our meals came out fast and she even provided our son with a custom Easter mason jar cup and stuffed Easter bunny plush! Our second experience, we stuffed ourselves with all the things, the platter, roast beef, chicken and noodles, brisket and noodles. WOW! Amy took great care of us again and we were beyond pleased. Not to mention, the prices are great!!! We will come back to Chillicothe just for Bell Farms!Kid-friendliness: Wonderful to kids! Meals are more than reasonable and it is very family friendly! We were even provided with a custom Easter mason jar cup and stuffed Easter bunny plush!

The service was wonderful! Such a sweet waitress but the food was not good. There was no flavor in anything. The brisket tasted beef jerky. I’ve never had a more bland mashed potato ? the bbq sauce was fire though.

Let me start by saying the place is nice and clean and the people working there are very nice. My daughter and her husband had to wait on me to arrive; so they gave them a free cup of vegetable soup while they waited. They brought me one too, it was delicious. The portions of food was so large, no one was able to eat all their food. Brian ordered a Cobb salad, he mentioned it was fresh. My daughter ordered a beef brisket and noodle dish. She thought it was good, but not seasoned very well. I ordered a pulled pork dinner, it had a good smoked flavor, but did not seem seasoned other wise. If not for the addition of bbq sauce, it would have been too dry to enjoy. The coleslaw was great and the green beans okay. Overall, the experience was nice. Would I go back? Probably not.

I stopped in for lunch with my husband and in-laws. Everyone of us was pleased with our meals. The owner took time to chat with us. We love the down home feel and will definitely stop in again.

We decided to try Bell Farms based on Yelp reviews. It was a cold, raw December day so a warm meal was needed. From the time we walked in we were greeted warmly, and treated to hot vanilla chai tea, nice broccoli cheddar soup and delicious creamy chicken plate with biscuits. Perfect comfort food! Loved the holiday decorations and historical decor.

A friend from out of town accompanied me on my first visit to this charming eatery. She immediately commented that the aroma of smoked meat that greets you as soon as you approach the building is a welcome diversion from the smell of the paper plant, something I barely even notice as a local. We were immediately seated by a friendly server as soon as we walked in. We ordered the Homestead Pimento Cheese Dip served with tortilla chips as a starter. It’s a generous scoop of a very mild pimento cheese spread appealingly surrounded by tortilla chips. My friend and I both ordered the Homestead Short Order Noodles with smoked brisket simmered in stock and served over mashed potatoes. It was a hearty portion served in a bowl with a roll on the side. I gobbled up every single morsel, leaving no room for dessert in my satisfied belly.I plan to return here soon with my parents, who I know will love this place. I’m anxious to explore more of the menu.

Some of the best brisket in town, served in a quaint, homey atmosphere. If they have it, get peach cobbler! Delicious! Service is quick and friendly.

We used Bell Farms recently for a large corporate dinner to provide FULL service catering. They covered everything from the light appetizers to a full dinner spread. They offer a variety of options including - vegetarian. Not only did they supply an excellent meal but delivered it to the venue with the staff to handle service. Shawna was easy to work with and provided great communication.
