“I went to Old Canal SH from Cols 8/21/23 and friendly staff, great prices, food is indescribably delicious. I ate some there and placed carryout order. I still have plenty left. You will not be disappointed. The food looks and taste like photos. Don't take my word for it. Well worth the drive.”

I will be stopping here every time we travel through Chillicothe going forward! One of the best burgers I have ever had…the Papermaker. And the people working there were the nicest. “Tried this little hidden gem for the first time today. I had the pulled pork/brisket sampler both were tender and juicy. Portion was large for the price. I chose mashed potatoes and kickin Mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes was good. I personally didn’t care for the Mac n cheese the noodles was over cooked with little cheese or spice flavor. However I didn’t complain or I’m sure our amazing waitress Amy would have exchanged it. The house tea is different was good. The Bbq sauce was delicious as well as the cheesecake. The other party had the meatloaf which she said was really good but, wished it was served hot instead of room temperature.

The charm and atmosphere was very appealing.

The staff was fast and very friendly always checking to see how things was and if we needed anything.

Only down fall I seen was if walking or steps are a big factor I didn’t see a way in other than the front door that has a couple steps but no hand rails. It is possible I just missed another way in.

All in all I’d return!”

I ordered 2 pulled pork (sweet BBQ sauce) sandwiches and 2 orders of the white cheddar Mac n cheese. My fiance and I really enjoyed our food. I'm so glad I stopped to check the place out. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.”

“some items are good,but lately meat quality has went down but price continues to rise I saw a log of the ground up hamburger they had trying to sell yesterday I really don't see anybody purchasing it. it was supposed to be the 80% lean which normally yes has some fat in it I prefer the 93% but my point is the 80% could not have possibly been 80% lean for the simple fact the whole roll of ground beef was full of fat it was obvious because there was not hardly any color to any of the packs they were all covered in white fat chunks I no longer purchase the this hamburger from Sam's Club as they are not the quality that is marked on the label you are paying the price of high quality but receiving the cheaper meat cut this is also obvious when frying when you see the amount of Grease compared to what it used to be”

Our waitress was friendly when she came by but was absent the majority of our visit.”

“My family has consistently had good experiences at Olive Garden restaurants in multiple locations. For a quick meal my date and I like the soup salad and bread stick combo. Our server was great, the food was the same good flavor as in other experiences, and we had a nice quiet table to plan our next steps.
