The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better...read full review
Drive-through service was a blank stare, and here you go that’s it. If there would’ve been a tip involved, he would have got one. I don’t care how good the food is if you show lack of appreciation for the business it’s just as bad as cold food.
I like SnS, hubby not so much (he's too picky...)
Not sure I like the no-wait staff thing,but we got what we ordered.

Steak 'n Shake offers wonderful food and milkshakes, with a comfortable and clean atmosphere. The ordering process is efficient, with a kiosk system and counter pickup. The crew here are amazing, nice, and upbeat. The restaurant is well-lit, has reasonable prices, and is kid-friendly with high chairs available. The menu features items like Chili Mac, and the food is actually quite tasty. The shakes are delicious, and the staff is quick to correct mistakes. This will definitely be a place to stop by again.
