“I tried this place for the first time today. The young lady behind the counter was very nice. They were closing yet she still took my order with no complaints. I ordered 2 pulled pork (sweet BBQ sauce) sandwiches and 2 orders of the white cheddar Mac n cheese. My fiance and I really enjoyed our food. I'm so glad I stopped to check the place out. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.“

“Tried this little hidden gem for the first time today. I had the pulled pork/brisket sampler both were tender and juicy. Portion was large for the price. I chose mashed potatoes and kickin Mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes was good. I personally didn’t care for the Mac n cheese the noodles was over cooked with little cheese or spice flavor. However I didn’t complain or I’m sure our amazing waitress Amy would have exchanged it. The house tea is different was good. The Bbq sauce was delicious as well as the cheesecake. The other party had the meatloaf which she said was really good but, wished it was served hot instead of room temperature.
The charm and atmosphere was very appealing.
The staff was fast and very friendly always checking to see how things was and if we needed anything.
Only down fall I seen was if walking or steps are a big factor I didn’t see a way in other than the front door that has a couple steps but no hand rails. It is possible I just missed another way in.
All in all I’d return!“

We celebrated my friend's bday dinner here and we all enjoyed it. They accommodated us pretty well, knowing we are in a large party of 15.
The food was warm and so good.
Very cozy atmosphere.
We all loved it. And we definitely had a great time dining here.

“I went to Old Canal SH from Cols 8/21/23 and friendly staff, great prices, food is indescribably delicious. I ate some there and placed carryout order. I still have plenty left. You will not be disappointed. The food looks and taste like photos. Don't take my word for it. Well worth the drive.“
