The lake was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. We've eaten there in the past and sometimes the food has not lived up to our expectations but last night everyone in our party had a wonderful meal. 
The food was excellent but the atmosphere put the experience over the top. Our table on the patio was located right next to a little brook, with a stunning view of the sunset. We were not rushed by the staff and enjoyed looking out onto the lake watching the water skiers and paddle boarders go by. Recommend timing the reservation to coincide with the sunset. Come for the food (scallops and halibut were very good) and stay for the sunset.
The patio dining is gorgeous. We got a reservation later than we wanted, but we got there just in time for the sunset over Chippewa Lake. It was perfect! The food was good and they didn't rush us out. It's definitely a special occasion type place.
