It was hard to choose but we decided on carrot and cream cheese frosting- which is a flavor we never thought we would choose for a wedding, but it was the best carrot cake we’ve ever had! We loved working with A Spoon Fulla Sugar on our wedding cake! The tasting process was fun and easy, we loved being able to take home everything and combine all of the flavors. Everything we tried was delicious and it was hard to narrow down. The ordering process was a breeze as was coordinating the delivery. My only regret is I only got two bites! Brides, have your caterer save you some for later in the bridal suite because you may not have a chance to eat it!

We did their tasting boxes - so smart and easy- for both regular and GF, and settled on that the GF carrot cake was unmatched, even if it wasn’t your “typical” wedding cake flavor.
No hyberbolic statements here when sharing, the cake was the most talked about part of our day!!! I’ve even had friends order a GF CC from ASFS since for parents and partners birthdays, etc. It was absolutely delicious and we will be getting a small one in the future as we think about it daily 😂 The design we received was both beautiful and exactly what we asked for.

For anybody in the Cincinnati area, if you are looking for a dessert, A Spoon Fulla Sugar, is the place to go. I was looking to order a birthday cake and sent an email with questions and was impressed with the quick response. I followed up with a phone call and the employee I spoke to was so kind and very helpful. After trying a few other bakeries in the area, where the workers have been downright rude, or the bakery items just don’t taste that great for what you pay, A Spoon Fulla Sugar, was a breath of fresh air. On the day of pickup, staff was just as nice and the items were ready and as described. And let me tell you their hummingbird cake and pecan pie was to die for. They both were by far the best my family has ever had. Often you get a cake that will taste good, but the icing is not or vice versa, but that was not the case here. The cake had the most delicious flavor and the icing was just as yummy. The pie was equally amazing and for my mom, whose birthday we were celebrating, she might of loved it even more. She said it was the best pie she had ever had and she doesn’t normally like bakery cakes, but loved this one. To top it off, both desserts didn’t just taste good, but they looked amazing. When I opened the box, I couldn’t stop saying how much I loved it; the cake was absolutely beautiful. A Spoon Fulla Sugar did not disappoint and I’d highly recommend them for anybody looking to help make someone's day, or your own, special.

We got a wedding cake tasting kit from a few bakeries, and Spoon Fulla Sugar was the taste winner -- their white cake was INCREDIBLY light and fluffy, and they had so many fillings to choose from. We went with a white cake with raspberry mousse and a marble cake with white chocolate mousse. The team did a great job with communication, pricing transparency, and matching our inspiration photos. The only hiccup was a silver cake board when we requested gold, but it looked good in the end. We loved working with them, and would highly recommend them!

It gave us the opportunity to sample all of the cake flavors, fillings, and icing. We were able to mix and match to find the best flavor combinations for our wedding cake. Our favorite layer was the white cake with white chocolate mousse filling. I also loved how they offered delivery during the room flip at our venue. It was so effortless; we looked over and our cake had been delivered in the flowers we provided were placed perfectly! I am so excited to continue using this bakery for special events in the future.
