I had the Shawarma plate and my fiancee had the Gyro plate. Really tasty. My portion was a little less than hers but I only wish it was larger because it was so good. The fries were really good, a pleasant surprise, I didn't come for good fries but I definitely got them.

Great service, the guy was working really hard on a few orders and he still had the care to ask us questions and everything was perfect.

Makes eating lunch in Cincinnati...

Really good generous portioned Gyros & Schwarma - killer seasoned fries and service with a smile! by the young U of C college guy that cooked & served us. Reasonable prices.. $9.99 ea
Fries $3.99 / drinks $2.79-$3.99
We split a Gyro & Chicken schwarma between 4 of us and it was plenty
Weekday lunch VERY BUSY try to beat the rush by going by 11am
Like 5 tables inside & some Outdoor seating as well..

Was in Cincy for work and stopped by Al-Amir for a quick bite. The food is simply some of the best Mediterranean food I'd ever had. The chicken Philly gyro was absolutely delicious and the fries are great too. Highly recommend this spot - friendly employees, as well!
