I never ever come through or stay in Cincy without getting some Alabama’s! Food is hot, fresh and Delicious! And it has been consistently for YEARS! The only change has been the increase in price. When I went today and saw the prices my jaw dropped- but it’s worth every penny!

Nestled on a corner of the hustle and bustle of Liberty and Race in Cincinnati, Ohio is an unassuming restaurant with a secret...they have the best damn fish in the city and all for a reasonable price.
For about 13 bucks you get crispy and fluffy fish, tasty peppers, and fries.
You won't find seating here. You won't find a fake smile on the cashier's face either. Not that it is terrible service and it is quite refreshing to have someone take your order without placating you. It's real and kind of charming.
And they know that the staff is not the highlight. They don't bother with much else than giving the customer really great fish. And peppers. And fries.

The fish from here is amazing. The order size is worth the price. The onions and peppers add fantastic flavor to whatever you want to eat them with. The staff is fast, not overly friendly, but not cold either, professional. They are fast and the place is clean. I have no criticisms.

We their with a group of ladies friends, one the lady had a question regarding the order she placed the cashier was rude to her a out her question. I then placed my order of 7 pieces of ocean perch, instead look like 7 pieces of crumbs, horrible it look like they cut one piece into 2 pieces, the staff just looked no one spoke and hello, horrible customer service. I will keep money and will never return their again.
