From start to finish, everything about this restaurant was perfect. The drinks were spot-on—refreshing, creative, and exactly what I needed to kick off the evening. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor in every bite. The atmosphere is buzzing with energy; you can feel the hype the moment you walk in. It's stylish, lively, and effortlessly cool, making it the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Without a doubt, this has become one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait for my next visit.
Love this place! We did ask for 2 wines that were not available so important to update the menu!!
This was our first experience at Alara, and our food was AMAZING!! We had the sea bass and blackened snapper entrees and the tuna crudo and HOP cakes appetizers and everything was perfectly cooked! Also, loved the decor of the restaurant! We will most definitely be back.
We were seated at the chef's table for our anniversary and boy, what a fun experience! We were served a special amuse bouche, and got to watch the magic happen in the kitchen as we looked forward to each dish. We also met the head chef, Ethan Greene, who was fun to talk with in between running the kitchen. We loved each course and the lamb chops were probably our favorite! Will definitely go back!
We absolutely positively loved Alara our first time there. This time our experience was a little different Three of us ordered the lobster carbonara. We were all disappointed in the lack of freshness to the lobster. It definitely tasted as though it had been frozen at some point. Our server was very, very knowledgeable about the menu. But her “tour of the menu“took way too long and was just too extensive for our comfort. One of us had the salmon and it was “meh”at best.
The service was amazing! I put a note in my reservation that we need to leave dinner at a certain time because I was proposing to my girlfriend after dining with them and they went out of their way to seat us at the Chef's table and provide an extra treat for us. The timing of the dinner was perfect, not rushed, and they got us out of there right on time. Thank you to the amazing staff for a perfect night!
We were really impressed with our service, our drinks, and the food was great quality! We had the focaccia bread which was soft and delicious! Then had the Caesar salad which was dressed perfectly. Then had the scallops with an ad on of lobster tail. The scallops were perfect decadent. The lobster was good too! You really can't beat the Ambiance either. It's fantastic!! We will be back ASAP!
Server and host were both quite accommodating to my wife's allergies and both our meals were excellent. The espresso martini is phenomenal.
We have always had a great experience at Alara and this was no exception. We sat at the bar for the first time and it was delightful. The bar tender was not only experienced with her bar and wine but new the menu inside and out. The lamb chops were outstanding and we shared the 4 chops which was perfect. We had an appetizer , a side and a bottle of wine ! All were just right.
Excellent food and service. We dined early on a rainy weekday evening so the restaurant wasn't very crowded. Each member of our party had a different entree and said it was good. The Iberico pork chops were delicious, as were the hearts of palm cakes. The chocolate espresso mousse was really creamy and indulgent. One of our party loved the carrot cake presented in a tasty, deconstructed style but another of our party said it he prefers a more traditional version. The espresso martini looked amazing so I look forward to trying it when I return.

Great service, nice ambience. Usually, we enjoy the food, but one of the dishes disappointed, but we will come back. Everyone's entitled to a bad day.
Excellent atmosphere, service, and food with many gluten-free options. Grace was an awesome server. H.O.P Cakes and scallops were phenomenal.
Service and food exceptional ; my birthday and I could not have been more pleased with our pic
Wonderful menu options very attentive service and a great setting. You surely can tell the staff is well prepared and trained. This is quickly becoming our go to restaurant in Cincinnati.
Brea was outstanding walking us through the menu and recommendations. We enjoyed sitting at the chef's table and watching Chef Ethan (with his team) execute some amazing meals. Duck carpaccio was a really light and fresh starter. The filet was perfectly cooked with the awesome side sauces. The blackened snapper was a must for any seafood lover. Can't wait to return!
