We enjoyed a dinner for two at Alcove. The menu is not extensive, but enough choices to please us. My partner had a smash burger, which was very good, although afterwards he said perhaps it was too filling, and I enjoyed a salad with topped with chicken. We split a NY cheesecake dessert. All in all, it was good. The service was excellent, and the food was prepared well, but nothing extraordinary.

The service was excellent. I loved the flavor of the crispy tofu sandwich, but the bread is a little too thick, thereby making the sandwich taste drier than it needs to. My partner said the chicken strips on her salad were a little dry. The cheese board, fries and drinks were excellent.

Alcove is a comfortable, nicely decorated restaurant with the ability to accommodate small seating to special parties. The bar is viewable from the restaurant- charming and welcoming. We dined before heading to the theater allowing for about an hour was ample time. Our waitress was friendly and offered helpful food suggestions. I ordered the smash burger with a Brussels and kale salad- delicious! My niece ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries. She commented that the breading was too heavy on the chicken. Our appetizer was the crispy potatoes. The topping was delicious but the potatoes were over cooked. We rated our overall experience as a four and will be back again.

I made a reservation for 8 for Christmas Eve Brunch. We were seated in a semi private room to the back that looks out to the restaurant and that was fabulous! The staff was all VERY friendly and very much in the holiday spirit. I ordered charcuterie and hummus platters for the table. Everyone ordered various cocktails which were all great. The food was delicious! I had the steak and eggs and it was a great cut and portion of steak. I was honestly shocked when I got the bill as it was so reasonable. This Christmas Eve brunch is our new family tradition and we WILL be back again soon! Thank you to the entire team at Alcove!!
If you're looking for an elevated brew pub experience you need to give this place a try. The place has a great ambiance and you can tell this is a nicer experience than most breweries. The food menu is relatively small, but the food we tried was all very tasty. And of course the Mad Tree beer was tasty as well. Service was a bit on the slow side, but was friendly and accommodating. They do have a kids menu and our daughters enjoyed their food as well. There is paid parking in a lot just next to the restaurant.

Came here for brunch to celebrate a good friend’s graduation! There was a group of about 13 of us and our server, Jess, was INCREDIBLE!!! The food was delicious, all of our orders were correct (and she remembered what each of us ordered, substitutions and all) she was calm cool, and all of her recommendations were top tier. Can’t wait to come again!!
