Never a bad experience nor an entree I have not enjoyed in years. Unique ( where else can you get blackened alligator in Cincinnati?) menu and great food . My favorite is chicken and sausage jambalaya and frozen margaritas with splash of cranberry. Love this place - have been coming here since Allyn originally opened the place with only the bar side and a space in the back with an ice machine and a gravel floor.

It is ok place, they have pretty good tuna. My husband liked their Cajun fries. Other sides were fine too. They didn't have cream brulee 😞

Took my wife, our kids and extended family to Allyn's for my wife's birthday tonight. Hadn't been here in maybe 25 years. What a wonderful time we had and awesome food/service. The jambalaya was really, really good. Our server said he was somewhat new, but he was great, took good care of us. Not sure why we haven't been in so long, but we'll be back sooner next time.

This is one of the most accommodating restaurants for vegetarians or vegans! I had pasta with pumfu for the first time, and it was delicious. Everything I sampled on my family's plate was also delicious. We will be back.

Some of the best original vegan dishes that aren't burgers or tofu. Have a vegan chili dog, jambalaya, and chicken sandwich that are all good. Great options for omnivores as well. Very knowledgeable staff capable of handling special diets. My wife's favorite place with vegan options in the city.

The fries were perfectly seasoned with a Cajun kick, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – a fantastic side! 2. Vegan Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with Cajun Fries – This sandwich was a standout! The vegan buffalo chicken had a wonderful spicy flavor with a satisfying texture, topped with all the fixings you’d expect from a classic buffalo sandwich. Paired with Cajun fries, it’s a perfect dish for anyone looking for a spicy, satisfying vegan option. 3. Fried Fish with Mac and Cheese & Brussels Sprouts – The fried fish was golden and crispy, while the inside stayed moist and tender. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection, adding a nice earthy balance to the plate. 4. 1/2 lb burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, blacken, and a side of onion rings. 1/4 lb dog with jambalaya, red bean & rice, picante sauce, and onions on an Italian roll with a side of very good fries. We ate it all Cajun food, great service. Great place to eat.
Parking: We parked across the street, near the bagel place.
Dana was such an excellent server and took the absolute best care of us with quick service and care. Food was absolutely delicious! The red beans with sausage was superb!
