Never a bad experience nor an entree I have not enjoyed in years. Unique ( where else can you get blackened alligator in Cincinnati?) menu and great food . My favorite is chicken and sausage jambalaya and frozen margaritas with splash of cranberry.
Love this place - have been coming here since Allyn
originally opened the place with only the bar side and a space in the back with an ice machine and a gravel floor.

Took my wife, our kids and extended family to Allyn's for my wife's birthday tonight. Hadn't been here in maybe 25 years. What a wonderful time we had and awesome food/service. The jambalaya was really, really good. Our server said he was somewhat new, but he was great, took good care of us. Not sure why we haven't been in so long, but we'll be back sooner next time.

This is one of the most accommodating restaurants for vegetarians or vegans! I had pasta with pumfu for the first time, and it was delicious. Everything I sampled on my family's plate was also delicious. We will be back.
