My wife and I went here for an earlier dinner prior to attend a play at the Cincinnati Playhouse. The authentic Lebanese food is excellent, and the personal family service is a nice touch. The venue could use some updating, but overall would recommend and go back especially when attending something in the Mt. Adams / Playhouse area.

I love cabbage. Andy’s cabbage rolls were horrible. Weird and sour tasting. Tried sauces and definitely not good. My granddaughter ordered just fries (for $9.00!) and so bland! No seasonings on the table. Will NOT go there again.

Whatever you do, do NOT patronize this restaurant. It is the most overpriced restaurant in the entire Cincinnati region. Sure there are more expensive restaurants, but for the value received this one is at the bottom of the barrel. The food is mediocre at best, the service is deplorable, and the belly-dancer just keeps turning her music up way too loud and doesn't understand that this form of dancing is meant to accentuate the dining experience, no be 'in your face' the entire meal. When my wife wanted to substitute a vegetable kabob for a chicken one, the wait staff (who is also an owner), wouldn't substitute it but forced her to have it as an 'add on' and then proceeded to charge us $10 for one tiny skewer that had onions, peppers, and one tomato piece. It was laughable! We had nothing, nada, zero alcohol to drink, I did not tip well due to the above, and the bill was still $100.00. That's $100.00 for a cheap, poorly presented meal in an ambiance and environment that is just one step above a diner --clearly not anything to write home about. My wife and I left feeling angry and betrayed. Not only will we not return, we will go out of our way to ensure that our extended friends and family are never subjected to this type of usury. The feeling you get from beginning to end of this dining experience is that they just want your money by charging exorbitant prices. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We had a very unique experience, indeed! (Said right on the menu hah!) waited 20 minutes to be seated for our “reservation,” a belly dancer is a weird attraction for a couples Valentine’s Dinner date, super salty food, nobody came to refill our waters, very expensive for some basic kabobs and rice, tried to over charge us by $19.50 ‘on accident’. Won’t be going back and do not recommend.

First time there with four adults. There was a belly dancer who began dancing about fifteen minutes after we were seated. It was fun the first time she came around. We tipped her when she made the rounds in our part of the restaurant and moved to the other sections. This went on the entire (almost two hours) we were there. Multiple returns to our area that had the same diners in a small space. Her music was so loud that we were shouting over each other. We asked our server, who is part of the family who runs the restaurant, if she could turn it down a bit and she said no because the dancer has the music on her phone. Seriously?? A phone's volume is easily lowered. At one point we watched the dancer shake her tassels in a woman's hair and the woman was clearly not amused. As far as the food and service go, we were never checked on a single time once our food came. One of our meals came with a salad that wasn't brought until I went downstairs and told the hostess at the door because we couldn't find our server. The salad was brought ten minutes after the steak and side was finished. We shared water with each other because our drinks weren't refilled. The guy who cleans the tables brought over water after we were done with our meals. The food was very average but super pricey. It was a weird and frustrating experience. At a birthday party later last night a friend said that it used to be so good and reasonably priced but they had a similar experience with service and quality the last time they were there. We were excited to try it but will definitely not return.

They did not seem prepared for the busy evening. Sat people without reservations first. Poor service. Did not offer drinks. Would not let us share a meal and appetizer. Overall disappointing, especially for Valentine's Day.

It had been a while since I was last at Andy's, but it was just as delicious as I remembered! I went during sn extremely busy night, but everything hummed along like a well oiled machine to keep up with the pace. The food was incredible, the ambiance was outstanding, and the staff extremely personable. Can't wait to go back again!

Very uneven experience here at Andy's. The food was quite good, and considering it was Valentine's Day, the service was good too. The atmosphere needs a modern overhaul. The worst part of the experience was the dancer coming around shaking her rolls of fat begging for tips. I get belly dancing. That's a cultural middle eastern tradition and is to be cherished. I've been to other restaurants, including in Morocco, and the experience can be quite pleasant. But it was not pleasant at all here. Every time she started dancing, the music got WAY LOUD and she came around to all the tables with dollar bills tucked into her costume. It was anything but culturally appropriate and even though we tried to be polite and just try to not engage with her, she'd just linger, expecting me to tuck tips into her outfit. I've never been in such an uncomfortable scenario like that, wanting to be appreciative of the culture but at the same time not wanting to participate or encourage that exact behavior either. It made for a very uncomfortable experience for my wife and I. It really cheapened the entire experience. Again, it wasn't the fact that she was belly dancing, but how it was presented and the expectation of putting tips on her body that just made the dancing feel totally inappropriate. As for the food, we ordered shish kabob (tenderloin) and shish tamook (chicken) skewers. The serving sizes were quite large and the meat was very tender, having been well marinated, though we found the lemon in the chicken to be somewhat overpowering. The accompanying rice was superb! And the hummus was perfect! The bread accompanying the hummus was slightly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. Andy's appears to be a small family run restaurant and I applaud them for their menu, food prep and taste. With such a small space, they were doing a great business that night. But for me, the in your face belly dancing for tips was too much of an intrusion into my personal space.

The food was great. We were there on Friday, Valentines Day, and the music was very loud when the belly dancer was working. It was a little odd for Valentine's Day. To be fair we were there for an early dinner so the music seemed louder until it got more crowded. Loved the food. Service was good in spite of the Friday Valentines crowd

The food was good, not great, but the prices did not match the service or ambiance. The set up was “diner” quality with menus printed on basic paper, crappy tables, everything was very dated. Paying $30+ for every entree and $15 for appetizers did not seem in alignment. We got 2 appetizers, 1 entree, 2 adult beverages and our bill (pre tip) was $99.

Iam a gluten free vegan and Andy's had many options available for me! Made us feel like family, attentive service, great wine recommendation too!

First time going to a Mediteranean restaurant / food. It was very expensive for raw food. Just not my cup-of-tea. Water / cook / owner seemed put out with waiting tables in an empty building.

First time here and having the Shawarma. Great dish!

Disappointing. The appetizer sampler was good. The bread was excellent, fresh. The drinks were ok but expensive (gin and tonic, no lime available and espresso martini that was lacking). The grilled vegetable entree was tasty.
The two chicken entrees were overdone-very dry. The beef was just ok. Service was fine. Atmosphere ok-they have an overhead a/c unit that comes on and kicks off, blowing and then not. Probably won't go back. Other Mediterranean options that are superior for the same price.
