The fish and chips was excellent. The batter was light and crisp. The fish was cooked perfectly. The warm cozy atmosphere is great for cold days. It was all around a very enjoyable experience.

We walked in on Saturday December 20th, 2025 at 9:00 pm. The bartender saw us but never acknowledged us as we had a seat at the bar. No hello, nothing! Waited patiently, no response. So after no service no acknowledgement nothing ( and it was not busy) we left. We will never go back! Such a shame that the young bartender girl with the braided hair was never even taught any manners!!!

So this place has gradually gone downhill for me over the last 10 years. I took my wife today and literally not a grain of salt anywhere in the meal. Something as simple as breaded cheese and chicken strips were extremely bland. I’m glad we actually ordered the Cajun fries because there would’ve been no seasoning whatsoever between two meals. I hate to say it but something as simple as salt or the lack there of can ruin a $60 meal.

I had the wrong order given to me called in they were supposed to send me something in the mail. It took them two times to send me something in the mail for me to get it originally I had ordered a buckaroo burger and the Hyde Park burger when I got the thing in the mail it didn’t barely cover one burger and they tried to charge me again for the second burger. I got one burger replaced bit into the burger and this is what was inside. The burger was a crinkled up piece of metal when I called back in the owner is who talk to me and she told me well. It was a free meal and there’s nothing she was going to do about it

Great food, and lots of it. Not the place if you're looking for refined and elegant. Exactly the place if you want to spend time with friends, comfortable, wrapping yourself around burgers, fries, and deep-fried mozzarella sticks. Nothing pre-made or frozen here - this is the real deal. Recommended.
Probably one of the best, juiciest, burgers I have ever had. Sharon had the regular fries and I had sweet potato fries. It was soooo good! We finished with an Authurs brownie. Yummy!
