Forty five minute wait. No update, because the server disappeared - never a good sign. Not busy. Disaster. So much for shopping local.

Went on Taco Tuesday/jazz night. On street parking was not a problem. Has Margaritas and Modelos. Great place to listen to great jazz by the Phil DeGreg trio. Highly recommend this is you want to listen to some good music in a cozy place.

I love the place. Their chicken soup is the best and the margaritas are to die for. Great service. Friendly atmosphere.

I try to think about a not-so-great restaurant overnight before reviewing to make sure I review fairly. I will start by saying the service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche ($9.99) and was extremely disappointed with the small portion that mainly consisted of tomato hunks and cilantro with tasteless shrimp and three small pieces of avocado. The shrimp was not marinated in lime as a true Ceviche is supposed to be and to make the dish look more "ta-dah", it was surrounded by the same chips you are given with salsa when you are seated. My BF ordered the steak burrito. It was served in a fish and chips bowl with no decoration or creativity....plunk. The flavor was no more impressive. I don't understand the reviews that describe the food as authentic Mexican. I can't say I would entertain the idea of trying again.

I was told this place has awesome food and margs. Was very excited to try it out but really disappointed by my food. I got a steak quesadilla that was very overcooked. My boyfriend enjoyed the authentic tacos but said they seemed a little smaller than other tacos he's had at other restaurants around town. Good otherwise for his food. The standout for me was my peach margarita. I love Mexican food and don't find myself to be too picky but probably won't return to eat here.

I ate here for the second time last night. Our group sat in the bar as the main restaurant had a funny smell. Kathy, our waitress, was great, very friendly and attentive. I was disappointed that she wasn't very familiar with the menu. We asked about the tequila in the pitcher of margaritas that we ordered and she had no idea. Also questioned the guacamole dip? She said that it was great, made fresh. In her defense, she had only been on the job for two weeks and was doing a great job. The guacamole on the other hand was terrible. Pretty sure that it was not made on site and it was kind of whipped, like a dip, and filled with garlic. I ordered the shrimp ceviche which was ok but filled with onions. My husband had the mixed fajita and he felt that it was all overcooked. After the disappointing dinner last night I feel done with this place. Too many other Mexican restaurants in the area serving better food.

Live band on the night we went was awful! But we sat on the restaurant side. Food was good, wish it was in a better part of town.

Really good food, great waitresses and even the owner came by to see how we were doing. Super good beer and the band was great (jazz). We go often, and will continue to go.

Love this place and reading some of the bad reviews is funny. Love the people that complain about small tacos and say avocados is not authentic because Mexican tacos are small. And people saying watering drinks that's bull cause they are strong and think you just let ice melt. And mold on food naa it's made fresh every day and when you order. This is the best Mexican restaurant on westside hands down. Keep your bad taste to yourself!

Went here with our son when we visited from Tennessee. 05/25/18 it was so much fun we went back the next night. Ric and Lisa (the owners)are great. The staff is awsome. And thanks for letting me hit the stage and pick a song on the guitar.

It is kind of a dive bar with great food and live music on some nights. Jazz on Tuesdays.
