Overwhelmingly disappointed in a specific security staff member there tonight regarding me forgetting my ID. Its my fault for forgetting but when I joked about me wishing I knew their staff like I know other local bar owners, the head security guy says: "well you don't know the important ones" in a dismissive tone. Excuse me????? You don't know who I know, unfortunately..... While this new mediocre bar may be enjoyable to some, I'll be avoiding it for their selective treatment being practiced—as several people were let in without needing identification. Like I said. My fault. Just shocked that my joke was met with rudeness and borderline disrespect. After that I told my friend I noticed a pattern with black women, specifically, as I watched. Hate pulling that card but it is what it is. Be advised.

Place was nice. Large, a ton of places to drink and be merry. Bathrooms for men and women were far apart I assume for security. Which is an added touch. It was busy when we went but the drinks came out quick and the cost wasn't terrible. Would visit again

Nice, clean bar. I wouldn't necessarily call this a tequila bar. There is not near a good selection of tequila a bar of this name should have.

Went for the Thursday latin night dance events to this place a few times after the nearby salsa on the square event. I usually wear a bandana but the bouncers at the entrace sometimes ask me to remove it. But then after walking in I saw some of the bartenders wearing a bandana on a couple of occasions so I was a little confused.I thought I'll check on what the rules are regarding dress codes on their facebook page. Turns out they don't have one and I ended up talking to the management of a different Azul restaurant by accident. On my last visit the doorman, Daniel, said there's no bandanas allowed. I proceeded to show them the discussion I had and asked him it's the same Azul because they're saying something different. He proceeded to be extremely rude with me (resulting in insultng me in front of my friends) and saying either "remove the bandana or get out". I said I'm removing it but at least let me know if this is the same restaurant. He said he doesn't care. After I walked in, I see a bartender wearing a bandana and multiple people with different types of head accessories everywhere. Needless to say I did not have a good time after that kind of an interaction with the staff right at the door.If you're willing to pay for overpriced drinks while being treated poorly by the staff there, it's a good fit for you. Then again your experience might end up being more pleasant than mine. I personally intend to avoid this place.

This place use to be Scene and has since been rebranded. We stopped by for some pre dinner drinks and they were out of several ingredients to make the cocktails we were wanting. Three people walked in and left without getting waited on. This wouldn't be my choice for happy hour.
Alireza Tadibi
Pricy liquors but suitable for Salsa dancing.

Azul was jumping on Saturday! Great crowd and great service!
Ethan and Reed are the best bar tenders I've met since I been in Cincinnati. I'm from Alabama just moved here and they made me love the area even more. Definitely recommend going here and having drinks. My drink was the electric and I feel great!! Don Julio was mixed in my electric. Happy hour for 7 dollars . One drink and I was happy

Terrible, profiled at entrance and turned around because of shorts. 2 mins later another group entered all with shorts.

Familiar place plus a few familiar faces from the prior establishment (aka Scene), but all-in-all it / management

This isn't actually a tequila Bar. They have 4 tequilas. 1) A bunch of Clase Azul 2) Herradura 3) Cabo Wabo 4) El Jimador. It's more of a club, they push bottle service. Nothing wrong with that, it's just set up as a club. Limited drink options tho. I would suggest being a bit tipsy before arriving, a bit expensive as well. If you are looking to get dressed up, see some sparklers and dance then this is your vibe.

Brendan was so wonderful! Knowledgeable about offered cocktails and different types of tequila. Love the vibe and the service was wonderful! Highly recommend. :)
