Let me say this meal was exactly what I was hoping for reading the menu ... warm, cozy and delicious. As many have said, the place is small. Make a reservation or press your luck with bar seating. We had reservations. Staring with the vodka flight, the first three were pretty similar but Zubrowka took the prize for me with some vanilla and spice notes. Great idea and nice pours. From there, my wife and I split 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. For appetizers (and the menu doesn't break them put this way, but we did) we had the casino eggs with caviar and traditional pierogis. The casino eggs were three half deviled eggs with caviar on top. It was very good but sparse for the price. We got one of each kind of pierogi and they were delicious. Nice sized, very tender, meaty and tasty. Plenty of onion and sour cream on top to add to the flavor profile. For our main course, we split the cabbage roll and kielbasa bowl. The kielbasa was very tender, though it could have been cooked so that the casing had a snap to it rather than soft. The pieces were buried in sour kraut and garlic mashed. Delish! Finally, the cabbage roll. Tender cabbage wrapping beef and pork with a fantastic sweet tomato sauce. It was scrumptious. I want this for my last supper. Perfect with the mashed and slice of bread. Yum. I didn't find the pricing outrageous. $80 for dinner, the vodka flight and a cosmo for my wife A fantastic meal. We'll be back. Soon.

This place was superb! The drinks were great and very interesting - service was fast & friendly. The place was a little small & expensive but over all great.

We had dinner here on Sunday for my husband's birthday. Both the service and the food were great! We started off with cocktails and an appetizer. A beer and a shot of Vesica vodka for my husband and a Bloody Mary for me. We ordered the Beet Latkes for an appetizer. We thought the latkes were awesome and would definitely order them again! We both ordered the Golumpki for our entree. While we liked the stuffed cabbage rolls we found the tomato sauce to be very sweet, which we thought a little strange. We wanted to order Medovik, the layered honey cake, since it was my husband's birthday but they were out of it. They said the Syrniki was the closest thing that they had to a dessert so we ordered that. It was served with sour cherry jam and powdered sugar. Although we were really looking forward to the cake - we thought the Syrniki was really tasty! We'll be back for sure.

This is a great addition to the OTR scene: authentic Ukrainian! The beet latkas were amazing, also the golumpki and kielbasa bowl. The honey layered cake was unbelievable: perhaps the best cake we have had!

Wodka Bar is such a vibe. As soon as you enter you'lll know why I say this. The place is downright gorgeous and totally gramworthy. The aesthetic is on point all the way down to the smallest of details. They have a solid offering of unique cocktails, house-made flavor infused vodkas, and the biggest variety of vodkas from around the world in the city. Alcohol not your thing? The bartenders can make a killer mocktail too. Beyond drinks the kitchen puts out Eastern European food in both large and small portions. Deviled casino eggs with caviar? Check. Insanely tasty pierogis? Check. But the cognoscenti pro tip is to order a few dishes to share with a flight of vodka or two to sample. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Stopped in for the F*** Putin Cocktail and were not disappointed. The Beet Latkes were not my favorite but my friend loved them. The Samosarogi Pierogies were excellent, and the Four Way Pierogis were also good.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant with another couple on Saturday night. To say that the restaurant is cozy is an understatement. We were surprised that our reservation only gave us bar seating which would not be our first choice. The restaurant only has a very few tables and bar seating for food and drinks. I began with the Hi-Rent Fizz cocktail. It had a lovely flavor of hibiscus mixed with a lemon infused vodka and garnished with a sprig of rosemary. It was refreshing without being overly sweet. All of the cocktails were served in vintage glassware and food were served on vintage plates. I started with an appetizer of deviled eggs topped with caviar that were seasoned perfectly and the taste of fresh dill was very tasty. For my meal I ordered the Babcia platter. This entree gave me a nice variety with a kielbasa sausage, a sour cream mixed slaw, and a choice of pierogies. I finished my meal with the cherry cake dessert which was large enough to feed all four of us. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the variety of infused vodkas as well as the different food choices offered.

absolutely love it! the food is amazing! cabbage roll is almost better than the ones my slovak grandma makes. The interior is intimate and a little dim, I would definitely make a reservation if you are going on a weekend. Definitely coming back soon!

Had only drinks (no food) but loved our visit to the Wodka bar! We stopped in after dinner for a girls night. In the future, I would be sure to make a reservation as there is limited seating. We sat outside so were a little more secluded. Espresso martini was amazing!

My wife and I love this little corner restaurant/bar on Main Street OTR. They have nailed the food and experience combination. Think old world Russian/Eastern European meets urban otr chic. The small yet beautiful room has an impressive overhead stain glass, fun mix of jazz playing and low-light ambiance. They pay attention to all of the details including dishes of fine china that both dresses up the meal and also gives you the feel of that old world charm. And then there's the food...oh my. We've been many times and ordered many dishes and have yet to not love each one. And I'm not sure how they do it but they all taste like comfort food made by a grandmother. Let me start with the Borsch. They change it for the season. It's not a hearty soup and I'm not East European, so I have no idea what it's supposed to taste like, but there are some delicious mild flavors throughout. The dill and the sour cream with the meat are just a perfect blend. The bread and picked were very good but I felt a bit pricey for what you get. But the kielbasa bowl is currently my favorite dish in Cincinnati. I'd give it 6 stars if possible. It's a simple dish but the PERFECT comfort food for the times. Slow roasted kielbasa pork ribs that pair PERFECTLY with the sauerkraut and the deeeelish mashed potatoes. Even as I write this, I want to go back. I can say similar things about the golumpki. Amazing comfort food that makes you want to go into the kitchen and hug the chef. The tomato sauce sets this apart, as it is the perfect combinations with the beef, pork and mashed potatoes. They have some old world beers that are very unique as well as vodka flights (I'll leave to a younger yelper). But this place has all you'd want in a neighborhood, corner bar/restaurant. Two YUMS waaaay up! Make sure you make a reservation, especially after 7 pm as you will be hard pressed to find a table, especially in the winter months when outdoor seating goes away.

Came in on a whirlwind tour of the area. Their pierogis were sublime as was my cocktail. I believe it was called Dascha? It was on the sweeter side, just like I like. The aesthetic is so very pleasing to someone like me who has roots in Eastern Europe :)

I have been dying to try out this place for a very long time but never got the chance. Luckily I was able to finally stop by! Wodka bar is a little cute bar right in the middle of OTR and it has a great atmosphere. Perfect for dates and intimate settings. We tried many different vodkas but started out with a flight. The prices are very reasonable for the experience and the quality. There were so many options we were so excited but overwhelmed, luckily the workers were beyond helpful and made it an even greater experience for us. I can't wait to go back and try more!
