Delicious Middle Eastern food in a casual atmosphere.
We enjoyed the lentil soup, hummus, falafel and spinach pie.

I ordered for pick up. Ended up paying about $30 for $10 worth of food.

The chicken Shawarma salad had barely any meat in it. It was majority lettuce, some tomatoes and other vegetables, but not much. It is very few calories for a $13 salad, definitely not a meal, and not the amount of meat/substance one would usually find at other restaurants for a $13 entree salad. It was supposed to come with pita chips and it did not.

My friend and I also ordered two orders of kibbeh- we got four individual pieces of kibbeh total. So that either means that a $13 order of kibbeh only contains two pieces- which is very small- or that they only gave us one order even though we were charged for two. The kibbeh was good- but most restaurants charge about 3 dollars per piece, but I was paying 6.50 per piece.

It was just very little food for the amount of money. The salad had a shockingly small amount of meat in it. It didn't taste bad per se, but also wasn't particularly good. Basically paid $13 for half a head of lettuce in dressing with little else.

AVOID EATING HERE!!! Outrageous HIGH prices at an outrageously LOW quality.
I was extremely excited to try one of the very few shawarma places in the area, so I ordered on DoorDash, and I was shocked of the quality beyond belief🙃
I ordered kibbeh, tabbouleh, yalanji (was missing), fries, harissa, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and beef kebab sandwiches, my total was about $105, over $100!!!!!!! And the sandwiches were dry like chewing on paper!!! The chicken shawarma especially had no garlic sauce, no nothing for flavor, literally half a piece of pickle, and that isn’t an exaggeration!!! The beef shawarma had more fat pieces than beef, the sandwich was 99% tightly wrapped bread, and 1% meat, no other ingredients as mentioned in the menu! I’m just totally disappointed, I had a decent level of expectations based on the reviews on this place! There was barely no tabbouleh in the plate for that price!! And $14.62 for yalanji that was even missing! Don’t even make me start on the harissa. Outrageous prices at an outrageously LOW poor quality. Except the kebbeh was well made, to be fair.
Either close down the restaurant or pay attention to what you’re serving your community! Cheaping out on ingredients is embarrassing.

Great Arabic / Mediterranean restaurant just off Ludlow in Gaslight Clifton with reasonable prices and excellent service. Good parking too.

Traditional favorites, including dessert. Nice decor and music. I came for lunch before an afternoon movie at the Esquire and food was fast.

I really enjoyed my Kefta Kebob and Lentil Soup with Turkish Coffee. They also have some desserts, but I was full already (I'll try them next time).

We thought it was closed and we almost left. So glad we didn't! Service was super friendly and fast. The eggplant in the mousaka was cooked to perfection. Hubby had the lamb kabob. Delicious!
