After the Bengals loss Sunday, a stop at Baru perked us right up. We both enjoyed the corn ribs. Frankly, they're one of my favorite menu items there. Then my husband enjoyed his lobster handheld and I went for the tofu fried sticky rice which was such a mighty portion we shared it and I still took home Monday's lunch. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the bartender's company. My husband even went outside to invite other post-game fans to pop in the nearly-empty restaurant....

We went Tuesday for restaurant week and were blown away! The food, the service, the drinks- everything was amazing! Thursday my husband's team at work including some out of towners wanted nice cocktails and sushi after a Reds game and they handled our walk in party of 10 with ease and grace! Service is always some hit or miss weird ish wether its the host or the bartender. Food is tasty. To go portions are smaller than dine in portions but the price remains the same. Which is ridiculous. This place thinks its more high class than it actually is.
