The presentation was nice, but the food was not the meat was very tough and dry. It was more like jerky. The greens taste like they’ve been microwaved for 30 seconds. The mac & cheese had my stomach rumbling all night. The cornbread tasted like flour bread. The bartender guy was very rude. I explained to him that the meat was very tough, He turned his nose up and rolled his eyes and said “its barbecue of course some pieces are going to be tough and some pieces are gonna be tender” lol I’ve been grilling since I was about 11 & eating it long before that I know how bbq works?? Besides it wasn’t like I was asking for a refund, I was just asking for the tough meat to be replaced with something different. He just walked off with my money and came back with change. That was definitely $30+ dollars down a drain Would never go back.

This is the optimal choice for Barbecue in Cincinnati.
*THE FOOD* Everyone expects great meats from an establishment with “Barbecue” in its name. And the meats are great. But first the salads and sides.
Bee’s has beautiful collards and cole slaw.
All of the salads are delectable, fresh, creative. My favorite dressings are the hot honey vinaigrette and the smoked jalapeño ranch. I know. You probably do not need to read any further, you’re already on your way to Vine Street.
Now the meat. The brisket is precious. The Cincinnati Hot Link is the sausage dreams are made of. The chicken wings are some of the best in town. And we haven’t even mentioned the ribs. Spoiler: the ribs are great. And there is bbq jackfruit for your vegan friends. It’s delicious.
What holds all the food together is the sauces. Poetic sauces. Many choices of sauce. They them all. Do not miss the sting sauce. There may be municipal fines levied if you do not order the sting sauce.
*THE AMBIANCE* This is a comfortable, clean, totally unpretentious restaurant with charming details and a buzzing vibe. But the bizz does not overwhelm, you can hear your friends. There is lovely outdoor seating, a very nice bar, plus indoor tables and booths.
*THE SERVICE* The Bee’s team is delightful, professional, skilled. They are deft. I come alone and with big parties and I get the same friendly and engaged service every single time.

The food was amazing. The brisket itself melted in my mouth, I've never had anything that delicious. Also, the mac and cheese with the cheez its on top was the best Mac and cheese I think I've ever had.
We had the ribs and brisket. The ribs were nice and tender but had very little flavoring and not much of a smoke ring - not a good sign. The brisket was the flat part and was very dry and tough. I don't mind the price very good bbq, but this missed the mark.
