Music was great! Good service, couple of us didn't like the cocktails that we chose, and Mike our server was gracious to replace them. Food was excellent! Overall we had a lovely evening there

The food at Brew River was served promptly, hot and appetizing. To start off, we each had a cocktail - one, the Hurricane; the other, a Sassy Fiona. Both were different and delicious. Our party of two enjoyed fried green tomatoes as an appetizer; one diner had the Thursday night Jumbalaya special (Jumbalaya plus a house salad), the other the BBQ Shrimp and Grits. Both entrees were flavorful and satisfying. For dessert we shared the bread pudding, another great choice for us. The server was excellent, answering our questions and brining the food in a timely fashion. There was a very entertaining singer/guitarist performing, adding to the casual, relaxed atmosphere. We will be eating at Brew River again soon and recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you to all who made our evening a great one.

Great service and delicious food with extra special touches to make my birthday meal extraordinary!

The Brew River salad was delicious, ate the whole thing, it could have been shared. Loved the shrimp and grits. The warm chocolate brownie for dessert was also large enough to share.

From the time we walked in, this establishment delivered! Our server, Mike was friendly, attentive, and had a great attitude to serve. We will be back!

This place used to have class and a sense of refinement. Just a few years ago there was great cocktails , food presented well , and coming out at the right times this is my second time back in the past year the first time there was a bartender hired that has never bartender before she couldn’t make half the cocktails on the menu. The mussels came out cold and the food was just in all pretty disgusting. I came back yesterday for the live music and there is a brand new server, no bartender and she’s making cocktails. She has never even made drinks before and was not properly trained he own words. We got our entrées before the salad and the appetizer . There seemed to be a manager or owner there doing absolutely nothing. It is highly unprofessional to hire staff that cannot properly make the drinks or be able to take care of the customers in the right way it’s not the servers fault. It’s completely the management and a once nice place has become absolutely pitiful. I don’t think I have seen a place so under trained or unprofessional in my life. This was my last time there. I don’t imagine this place staying open much longer without new management or ownership.

My husband and I were blown away by the quality of the food. The grits were the best I have ever had (I order grits whenever they are on the menu); so silky and delicious! My husband loved the oysters and the pickled veggies were delicious on a hot summer day. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night, quiet and fun with the live music in the bar area. Our server was so down to earth and fun and the sous chef came out to our table to have a fun discussion with us about our love of his grits. We had a great date night and will definitely be back!

Dined with them for my birthday-

The food was phenomenal and the host was very helpful! If I had to change anything I’d say it would be nice to somehow hear the band outside if at all possible? The band was pretty loud inside but they must have excellent windows because outside you couldn’t hear a thing! Maybe even outside speakers could work. Also perhaps a fan outside! I noticed they had heaters but no fan? But hey overall the food was so good none of that mattered!

I wish I could give 10 starts. This restaurant quickly skyrocketed to my list of favorites. There aren't words suitable for how delicious the food was. The small plates are a great option to share and get a taste of everything! The decor is festive and fun and the environment is comfortable. The service was great as well!

The wait staff was totally awesome and courteous, attentive. The Chef prepared a great brunch for us, Gumbo, bacon infused doughnut cakes and a wonderful lavender lemonade. Definitely will be going back.
