We have brought friends here & my husband I dine here a lot! Every single time, the food has been delicious & the staff is Amazing!! I have to give a shout out to Cooper & Faith! Both usually wait on us & they are just so sweet & give excellent service!! We look forward to seeing them. I just came here last night with my husband for an early Bday dinner & Cooper again was the Best! He treated me to a delicious bday dessert! Thank you again Cooper! I Highly recommend this restaurant!! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile & it just continues to get better with your experience here!!

My husband and I went the other night for dinner. There was no one to greet us at the door. We stood waiting, watching employees pass by for several minutes before being taken to a table. The service was slow, however, it was very obvious our server was overwhelmed with the volume of the restaurant. I ordered the Nicoise salad, my husband ordered the Chicken Picatta. We finally received our meals after 30-35 minutes. The lettuce in my salad was wilted and soggy. My husband's chicken was over cooked and dry.
Disappointed in the quality of the food, especially for the price and the service we received.

I never have experiences so bad that I feel obligated to leave a review, but I feel almost responsible to alert the public on how overpriced, bland, and sterile this place is. Do not go here. First Watch is right next door, same prices but with far better food and service. I truly don’t know how this place is in business when there’s so many better options around.
The atmosphere looks like a cross between a nursing home and a casino for some reason. The tables are covered in paper which makes you feel like you’re eating at a preschool.
I waited for 30 minutes (not exaggerating) for my “biscuits with chicken and potatoes” which turned out to be a meal consisting of frozen food from GFS that looked microwaved. The “breakfast potatoes” were quite literally tater tots from the freezer isle at Kroger. I paid $16 for that.
The coffee was ok, everything else was absolutely insane. I wish I had taken a picture.
In summary - very overpriced for the quality and portions you receive, uncomfortable atmosphere, subpar service.

The service far exceeded expectations (seriously outstanding), our meal was great, and the hot chocolate was a treat all by itself.

I’m an avid crème brûlée lover. I had already eaten dinner at Potbelly across the way. Amy greeted me when I walked in. I was ONLY there for crème brûlée. She and I agreed sitting in to eat it is way better than to-go, and I’m so glad I did! It was one of the best crème brûlées I’ve had for sure!
Amy is lovely and great at her job! Very nice :) will definitely be back for both the crème brûlée and the stellar service!

It’s always busy for lunch, have been there several times. Made a reservation since we had 6 people. Service was great and the atmosphere is nice. I had the fish sandwich, the portion of friend fish was small, dwarfed by the bun. I got fruit instead of fries and it was a very small cup of fruit, like a condiment cup. Getting fries would have been a lot more food. Next time I will get something that is more food for the price.

After spending time in the bookstore we decided to walk into the bistro for coffee and take a look at the menu. Seemed like a normal thing to do. Coffee and bookstores go hand in hand. After we ordered coffee, the waitress, Ashely S., asked if we were ordering food. We said, for now just coffee.
She said “for now or you’re not eating? Because this is a full service restaurant” and then rudely snatched our menu and walked away. She then brought empty to go cups and the check and said we need this table for eating customers you will have to leave.
A few minutes later, she had a male server come over to say that on Sundays we are busy, sorry you need to leave.
We were so confused, it’s attached to a bookstore, no signs that say full service only, not a fancy restaurant. There was not even a friendly explanation. Just a rude waitress who threw to go cups and the check on the table. I would suggest they put signs that say you must order food to sit down and that sitting for coffee is not allowed. We definitely will not be back. First watch is right next door and clearly is the better option.

Food has really gone downhill. Was cold and not very good. Staff was short and rude. They acted like it was an inconvenience that we were eating there.

Hostess and waitress were both micro aggressive. Felt like the staff had bad attitudes and it showed in their passive aggressive service.

As someone who has frequented Brontë Bistro when colleagues are in town I was generally the first to recommend this spot for lunch. It was always a favorite of my ex-boss. So, when a new colleague came to the city for a meeting just down the road I quickly suggested Brontë Bistro for lunch and to run through some of his business related questions as this was our first meeting together. Unfortunately, we started off to a rocky start and were placed at a tiny table by the bar. I can't sit in wooden chairs bc of severe scoliosis and a spinal fusion so we asked to be moved to a booth. We could tell our server was not thrilled. We ate our decent lunch and had acceptable, mid-grade service. I went to the restroom and upon returning I stopped at the bar to pay for something and was told that they had been on a wait and that the manager had encouraged the sever to have us leave. She was very rude and off putting when she shared this with me and I felt very uncomfortable. It was an inappropriate interaction at best. A few moments later the store manager came up and scolded us for taking too long at the table and told us (I had no idea and as a customer it's not my concern) that they had been on a wait and that everyone wants a booth. She told us our business meeting was not welcome and we were not welcome to be there. My colleague and I sat stunned and did not say anything to her. He said that he felt like she reprimanded us like children and we had done nothing wrong. Not a good first impression for my new associate. Sadly, we won't be back. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable for me and very rude and unprofessional on their end. Just do better. Be kinder. And, if our business was not enough and the next guest vying for our valuable booth was that important if they had politely asked us to leave, though still not appropriate, I would have happily obliged.
My absolute favorite spot! 🔥
