Atmosphere was great, but food portions are tiny for the price you pay. I would recommend you get something else and only come here for the coffee and chill atmosphere, otherwise you will spend easily $40+ just to get enough food for an average person. Also, the server I had was great, but poor guy seemed like he was the only one working the tables with one hostess seating people. Overall I wouldn't come back unless the food portions increased or the prices dropped to match the quantity. Go to First Watch next door for more food.

Biggest gripe is that the portion sizes are for little kids, I left still pretty damn hungry. I wish I would have known before coming here that the amount of food I was getting was for someone on caloric restriction. The food although was still delicious and atmosphere is great. Increased portion size and the place would be great

Everything was quite wonderful at Bronte Bistro today. I loved the half and half choice that the server offered ... vegetarian chili and half of an avocado BLT sandwich.Wheelchair accessibility: Level parking lot to front door of the store and restaurant

2024: Still a reliable place to be comfortable and enjoy good food. And the bookstore is still just a few feet away.2016: We eat here all the time. Terrific, unique food, decent service, and really comfortable. Prices aren't bad and the bookstore is right there!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian chili is superb.

My girlfriend and I came for breakfast. The sevice was fine and the atmosphere is cute other than they put sheets of paper all over the nice wood tables... too lazy to clean them??Food: the food was terrible. We ordered an omlette that was extremely over cooked and tasteless. The "home-style" potatoes were actually frozen gross little hashrbrows. I didn't like them but there were still only 4 tiny bites. The "turkey sausage" were actually frozen sausage patties. They were rubbery and burnt. The frozen Tyson ones that you can get at the store in bulk. The toast was disappointing as well. What self respecting breakfast place doesn't have rye or sourdough? And then serves the toast with smuckers jam, a breakfast place should have its own jam. Bronte "Bistro", please. Luckily the waitress was nice and gave us a refund for the food because we couldn't stomach it. We paid for the mocha though, the mocha was good. First watch is on the same complex, go there instead it is way better. Or even the Starbucks across the street will have better breakfast food.

This was our first time visiting Bronte Bistro and were able to be seated right away at 11:00am on a Sunday. After that time there were many guests being added to the wait list. The service was fast and friendly, while the food tasted great. It seemed like they may be short staffed, as there were only a couple of waiters serving the whole restaurant. Pedro did a great job keeping up with the large amount of tables with no delays. This place seems popular for coffee and reading, as it is attached to the book store.

I’ve been going here for years. Whoever is running it now is doing an excellent job. This alfredo dish (grilled chicken, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese & other tasty ingredients I may have forgotten) was AMAZING!!They have a killer dessert menu including creme brûlée ❤️❤️ … however my Mom likes carrot cake … WOW take a look ?Parking: Huge parking lot at Rookwood CommonsKid-friendliness: Completely. It is relaxed more fine dining aka not fast because someone is making your food to order … they do have bakery items as wellWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible connected to Joseph Beth bookstore

Great service. Food was good, just didn't knock my socks off to the level of a 5. I liked the book covers that they had for decor. It's connected to a bookstore, but you can also choose a room that's not directly adjacent to

The omelet was good but the breakfast potatoes were disappointing. I expected fresh potatoes prepared but instead they were hash brown patties. Possibly came frozen out of a bag.

Food was amazing - every single one of us had a clear plate! Atmosphere is friendly as well as a bit upscale (AKA very nice). Our server was amazing and went above and beyond for us all night. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: I cannot have gluten or dairy, and I had several options.

The Veggie Omlet was amazing, our server Pedro was very polite with a good sense of humor. Sorry Toast and Berry found me a new breakfast spot. I feel so goofy I've lived in this area for years and always drive right by this place. ☺️

Love this place, nice atmosphere, classic menu! Unfortunately, they have had some turnover and staffing issues recently and service has been a little slow but shout out to Pedro and some of the other team members who are always friendly and do their best even when it is a challenge to keep up. Seems they might have a new manager, so maybe the situation will improve?
