I can’t say enough good things about Chaske and the whole Brown Bear team. Their cinnamon rolls are the best on the planet, and therefore are mine and my (now) husband’s favorite dessert. So when we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we were both crossing our fingers to be able to have Brown Bear cinnamon rolls for our guests — and Chaske made our dreams come true!! The cinnamon rolls were such a hit, and we were delighted to have our favorite dessert for our special day. I can’t thank this team enough for making the magic happen. Thank you Chaske and all of team Brown Bear!! ❤️

Possibly the best Bakery on planet earth. Everything they make is delicious. Brown Bear is an absolute must stop anytime we are in Cincinnati, usually twice.
The savory croissants are just on another level, not only are they the best croissants I’ve ever had, they are up there for the best food I’ve ever had. We had their Feta and Fig croissant a few weeks ago and it was just delightful.
If anyone I talk to even mentions driving through Cincinnati, I tel them they have to stop. Never disappointed.
The people who work inside are great too, always friendly.

Cute little bake shop with some of the most delicious treats (both sweet and savory) that I've tasted in some time. Will definitely stop here again next time I'm in Cincy!

Prepare to wait in line as you grab your favorite bakery items. I enjoyed the fact that they had both sweet and savory items.

I love Brown Bear so much. The pastries are excellent, and the staff is always supremely kind. I’ve been coming here for years and have been constantly impressed.
I visited this morning when a homeless woman came into the shop and made a huge scene, swearing at the staff and making a huge mess. The staff reacted with patience, kindness, and firm boundaries—even packing up her objects in a bag, sweeping up the pile of Bugles she left behind, and gave her a free coffee (as it was raining outside).
The interaction was so uncomfortable, as she was yelling the entire time, and they kept a professional and kind demeanor throughout. The staff then apologized to ME for the scene that SHE created.
Most people don’t see this side of downtown business, the invisible labor that service staff does with kindness, even as a person is openly disrespecting them. It made me love the staff at Brown Bear even more.

What a dreamy little corner of the world. It is like someone saw my bakery dreams and brought them to life. The beautiful window into the kitchen...chefs kiss!
Food - Balance!
Loved, loved the flavor balance 💕❤️
Savory croissants knocked my socks off! Nevermind, the mocha...that touch of salt was truly magical.

Great savory pastries! Would highly recommend the summer savory croissant. Workers are very nice. The space itself is small but cute. During peak hours it'll be totally full and getting a seat is just luck. A bit expensive at 6$ a pastry or so, but for a special treat and such high quality that's okay.

Super delicious. I got the raspberry crumble croissant and shared the summer savory croissant. Both were absolutely amazing, especially the savory croissant. There is free water inside and some tables but they were very very busy so no open space to sit (Saturday morning lol). Cost was $6 each, not listed in front.
