Wonderful and attentive staff. Burgers were delish. Everyone in our group (12) was able to find something on the menu to enjoy , from salads with shrimp to burgers. We had a great experience! Thank you Bru's!
We went on a random Thursday evening at the back end of dinner. Our servers were inattentive. We had a little one with us and it took forever to get the kids meal ordered. Then the servers disappeared and took forever to come back. It was really disheartening because the Bru Burgers in Indy have such amazing service. The food was fantastic.
Delicious burgers , quiet location downtown and close to our activities at Cincinnati Art Museum! Great service!!!
We never received our food! Reservations were made on 7/9 @ 7:50 am for eight (8) people for 12:00 noon on 7/10. Two persons from our party arrived by 11:40 and were seated and received drinks, the additional six of us arrived @ 11:55. At 12:20 someone finally came and took our drink order and we went ahead and placed our food order. Seven of the eight of us ordered the Burger Week Special and one person ordered a different burger. Our drinks were brought to us pretty promptly. At 12:50 a member of our party asked another waitress, since ours never came back to the table, if she could check on our food, she looked at her and screamed "Don't Yell At Me!" She did not yell at all, she simply asked her to check on our order as we had been waiting awhile. She went into the kitchen, which we were sitting right outside of and never came back, nor did our waitress. At 1:10 we got up and walked out. We watched as many people came in after us, ordered, got their food, ate and left.
We've always been big fans of Bru Burger. This was the worst experience we've ever had at one of their restaurants. Our Waitress was grumpy (we tried to give some grace, the world is crazy). The menu has been significantly reduced from what it used to be. We got an onion ring appetizer that had 7 onion rings in total (for 4 people). French fries were soggy. Garlic aioli sauce that came with the black bean burger was starting to congeal like it had been sitting out for quite a while. We're probably done with Bru Burger at this point. It was amazing when it first opened, but has steadily gone down hill.
Our server Antony was great! Unfortunately he had no control over how long it took to get our food from the kitchen......we waited 25-30 minutes for salads and a portobello burger to come out.....which by the way, was terrible. It was all bread with a few tiny slices of the mushroom with very few onions. I sent it back and didn't want to wait for another 25-30 minutes for a new one. We had tickets the Aronoff. Another table around us was asking for the manager because they had been waiting to long for food. Think we will pass on this place next time we are seeing show.....
Arrived a little early and was able to accommodate. Food was excellent and service was great. Will definitely return.
Great server, knowledgeable and friendly. Food quality was excellent. Only poor part of our experience was a table next to us talking to their daughter on speaker phone. Not the restaurants fault.
Our server was fantastic, food - great, HVAC - not good. It was very warm in the dining area!
Great food, close to the Aronoff, for a more casual pre-show dinner. I had the Turkey burger... very tasty, with a side of veggies. My husband and younger son had regular cheeseburgers, and my older son tried the patty melt. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The waitress helped us get our check early so that we could head to the show quickly after we finished eating. Make sure you get a reservation!!! You'd think a burger place would be easy to walk in, but you'll be disappointed if they don't have room for you! The burgers are that good.

Delicious burgers, friendly service. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and would 1000% get it again.
Had reservations for 3 and when we arrived they acted like there wasn't a table for us. We sat at a bizarre little table. The hostess and server were very nice and the food was very good. Just disappointed on the table.
This has become our go to place before a show. Food at a reasonable price. Food is always good. Lots of different burgers to choose from. Service is good. Eddie was our server this time. Excellent!
Although Bru Burger Bar is mostly known for its hamburgers, we were extremely pleased with our dinner salads. The ingredients were very fresh and beautifully presented and came exactly as we had ordered them. Our server (Ella)was terrific! She checked on us regularly but did not hover and made sure we had everything we needed. This was my third visit to the downtown location and I will continue to patronize this restaurant for its quality offerings and great servers! Kudos!
Very poor experience service wise - the food was fine but we were up charged for multiple drinks and the server couldn't have cared less to pay attention to anything we asked for. Brought the wrong drinks multiple times, forgot food we ordered and was just a difficult experience overall. I brought my family here from out of town and was highly disappointed. Will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone else.
