Crust tastes frozen and too thick. Toppings are average. Cheese tastes frozen too. Definitely not with $4.50 a slice, so a $24 pizza would be very disappointing. Try a slice first then go from there. The old Bubs with new owners and new crust. Been there twice and won't go back m

We go in here quite often, and are always treated great by the staff. Food is always always always amazing, done on time, the price is great & they know our order by name at this point. Them being open late is a huge convenience. Definitely would recommend and have recommended Bubs and will continue to. The staff here is attentive to their customers and makes awesome calzones. Jay, Shawn, David and Logan are always super pleasant and fun to be around while we wait for our food. Go eat here!!!!

I tried really hard to like the place because the manager is a nice guy but the pizza is probably a 3/10, very hard crust, very greasy, yet you can still taste the flour on the bottom of the pie.I gave it a one star because I bought a cheese calzone and they sold me an old calzone that had been sitting out. The center was nothing but dried congealed cheese.If you want good pizza in the area go to St Francis Apizza

Large specialty pizza with two additional toppings for 23.99 the size of the pizza is huge lol and it taste fresh even if they are missing certain ingredients to make a better pizza place but for my first time I’m in love with the sausage and the pepperonis are not little bitty pepperonis so that’s a plus too in the picture that’s only two pieces missing lol

Bubs has the best people, music, and pizza in Hyde Park. ?You can order by the slice and they are open late through the week (until 2am), and even later on the weekend, 3:30am.The walk up window makes picking up your order super easy and quick. You can bring your dog along since they have this unique feature available to their customers.

Very good pizza at pretty good prices. The toppings were abundant and as well as the cheese. The crust is actually really good nice flavor and not dry like a certain other places. Definitely recommend as they are open late .
I'm always what kind of pizza I'm going to get when I'm not home near Chicago, but Bub's did not disappoint. I'd call it New York Style with a bit more tooth, and the slices of sausage was a pleasant surprise. Good pizza, and good wings.

$16 for a 16”, ok. Definitely NY style pizza. Ordered with half pepperoni and it had plenty of sauce and cheese without adding extra. First thing I noticed was perfect texture and amount of everything. Second thing I noticed was underwhelming flavor of sauce and dough. Third thing was an unusual pepper like heat in the back of my mouth and throat. Not a bad thing, but it stuck out and hung around quite awhile since the flavor of everything else was so so. Better than most of the chains except I’d order a Donatos over this. I read reviews stating bland flavor and I kind of agree. Need garlic in the dough and some flavor in the sauce. ?
