Had the paradilla experience for two, large amount of food for a couple at a decent price compared to two entrees. Good sampling of the various meats and allowed the two of us to mix and match the pieces we each liked more. Service was great and will definitely be back.
We've dined at Butcher and Barrel plenty of times, but last night stood out in the best way — all thanks to Jennifer. From the moment we sat down, she brought a level of warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that elevated the entire experience. It wasn't just good service — it was the kind that makes you feel genuinely cared for. Jennifer had that rare ability to read the room perfectly: engaging without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being rehearsed, and always a step ahead without us even realizing it. Her timing was impeccable, her recommendations were spot-on, and she made the evening feel effortless. It's easy to overlook how much a great server can shape a night out, but Jennifer reminded us exactly why we keep coming back — and why we'll be back again soon. She turned a familiar spot into a memorable evening, and for that, we're truly grateful.
It's a great atmosphere, the old fashioned was excellent, the service was fantastic, the food was okay. My husband and I both ordered the filet. Mine was cooked as it should but there were several cut marks in the steak where it had been check for temperature. My husband's was ordered medium rare. The first one he received was well done. The second one was very rare. Then were were charged for three filets with the check showing a credit for one when his was actually supposed to be removed. They did make it right by taking his off and only charging us for the one. Had we not been on a time restraint headed to a show, I'm sure they would have brought him another one hopefully prepared correctly. Overall, it just seemed like an off day so it's likely we will give it another try.
Jennifer made the whole experience AMAZING! The food hit the spot too. We will most certainly be back.
We had the most amazing experience. Everyone was so kind from the time we walked in the door. The ambiance is so romantic and the food was fantastic. We had the Parrillada Experience for two and a bottle of red. The meat was cooked to perfection and the wine was velvety smooth. They brought us a free dessert since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. I highly recommend the Affogato with a side of bourbon. It was heaven! We will be back.
The food was not good at all. We ordered both chicken and Filet Mingon and both were incredibly dry and tough cuts of meat. The ambience was so bizarre, I felt like I was in a weird liminal space in their back room dining area. Even despite them taking the steak off our order, the food and cocktails we ordered were incredibly overpriced for quality you could get at a Chilis. Even with the kind waitstaff, I wouldn't recommend this place.
Dinner was amazing! We celebrated a birthday and the staff was very caring and made the night very fun. Highly recommend the short rib gnocchi!
Service was excellent, atmosphere was solid- it's a little subdued but there are TVs with a games on at the bar. Food was solid, definitely would eat here again.
We went back to Butcher and Barrel, needless to say the food was delicious. The restaurant got noisier as the night went on, which is expected, no complaints there for a Saturday night. Restaurant week menu was superb. My only complaint was the waitress didn't seem too interested in us, more interested in her other tables. Not sure why? Bigger tip? So I was a little disappointed in that. But we will definitely be back to Butcher and Barrel.
We decided to try a new restaurant for Restaurant Week and we were not disappointed! This was one of our favorite places we've tried in a while. The food was excellent and service was great (can't remember our waiters name but he was so helpful and knew the menu well). Will definitely be going back!

Jennifer, our server for the evening, was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!! The food was some of the best we have ever had!
My friend and I went here for dinner before a show at the Aronoff. Our waitress was Jennifer and she was fantastic! The food was amazing and I loved all of the decor. I would definitely go back again.
For the most part, the restaurant was not busy. Unfortunately, we were joined at our table by four flies that were constantly landing on or around our drinks and plates. We asked a staff member for assistance, even a fly swatter. He was never to be seen again. As far as the food was concerned, my Chef Special porterhouse was requested to be medium, but was well past that with absolutely no pink.
Meat, meat meat. Why else go to an Argentinian steak house. Empanadas were also excellent as was the grilled Caesar salad.
Food was yummy, venue was pretty. We got seated in the back room which was not quite as nice. Everything we had was good. The gnocchi short rib was AMAZING.
