This place is amazing! The ambiance is so nice, and the food and service are perfection. So glad we finally tried it! I got the filet mignon, paired with their fantastic potatoes. Sides are shareable; we took food home! This is a very nice venue for a birthday, anniversary, or just because you deserve it.
Absolutely wonderful staff! We are at 830 on. Thursday night. Not very busy, so it was nice and quiet. We had the salmon and also the filet medallions, both were fantastic as well as the side of Brussel sprout we split. They were very kind and knowledgeable when suggesting wine for dinner. Overall a lovely experience and evening!
The food was good. Our group was attending a game after our dinner and food service was quick to get all dinners out quickly. The wait staff kindly pointed out the tipping policy for large parties. And, Butcher and Barrel was able to combine two reservations and accommodate our group of 11.
The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
I loved absolutely everything about this restaurant from the ambiance and decor to the food quality and friendly staff. My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary and retreated to champagne and delicious piece of cheesecake after we had the best dinner we can remember. We will absolutely be back!
Prior to my visit to Cincy, I did some research about the best places to dine in the downtown area. This place did not disappoint. The waitress Nicky was amazing, and the food and drinks superb. Do yourself a favor and come here for dinner 😊
Love this place so much! Always fantastic service and every time we've been in, all of the food is so memorable that we talk about it for days afterward.
This was probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Restaurant was not very crowded. We waited to be seated and then waited for 15 minutes at the table. They apologized for forgetting and offered an appetizer. We placed our order and were seemingly forgotten again. The restaurant emptied around us an we still didn't have food. A manager came by, apologized and said it would be out shortly (it was not). We waited over an hour and the food finally arrived cold and with the wrong sides. We ate, paid and left. We never saw the manager again. Should have just left in the beginning
We had bad service and waited 20-30min for our server to come back and take our food order and the food we ordered didn't come out properly or missing.
First time there. The inside design/decor was nice. The staff was very attentive and really nice. They checked on us several times without being annoying. The ribeye steak was well prepared. Although I would like to see a side or 2 coming with it for the price. Needed to order an additional salad and fries. Afterwards I had 2 old fashioned which were well mixed.

For what you get you may be left with buyers remorse. The food is good, sauces are excellent but after doing the experience you may be left wondering where your money went. Good restaurant just a bit expensive. Not worth a return trip.
The service was great. Food was just ok. We all ordered our steak medium and only one came out that way. The rest were well done.
All I've got to say is we we're so impressed with our first visit we returned the next day. They confirmed everything we loved about the place. Get Butcher and Barrel on your radar! Fried cheese Argentine style is THE BOMB.
We were greeted by the nicest hostess ever, then served the most delicious meal by the best server Crystal Metts. This was an all around fantastic experience. 1000% recommend.
Great food and service each time we dine here. Carly kept us on time for our show as well. Thanks, guys, and you will see us again.
