Out with a group of 15 folks, heading to a karaoke room that’s next door, so this place made sense for dinner. When we arrived at 615 we were the only table. I am not quite sure how to put this, but the server and bartender actually seemed angry at us from the get-go. Having worked in food service, I know it’s not an easy job, especially if you’re understaffed, and frankly, I am accustomed to being in mediocre food places but getting the best service. This was the exact opposite: the food was “okay,” but their service is a true pain point. Arguing with a guest about how much condiment she requested is ridiculous.
I always want to call this place the 80’s cafe. They have some nice pictures on the wall of 80’s stars and typical 80’s music. I have heard some songs in here that I hadn’t heard in 30 years. Food is good, people are friendly.

This place is awesome. The best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. I replaced the Americano sauce with the jalapeno aioli and it was amazing. Cheese curds and onion rings were also really good. The service was superb. Zack, the manager on duty was above and beyond the best. I watched him run circles around everyone in that restaurant. He seated customers, took orders, delivered food, and checked on us frequently. Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Good drinks, good food and excellent service. Walked from the convention center and it is close by. I had a Nashville chicken sandwich which was good. Sweet potato fries arrived at the table less than scorching hot but acceptable to most of us.
Bang for the buck.Food is decent for the prices breakfast or lunch specials $6.75 bacon cheese burger and fries pretty good seasoned fries. The breakfast deal is choice of meat eggs potatoes and instead of bread you can opt for biscuits and gravy
Vegetarian options: They have salad options
Kid-friendliness: Friendly for the entire family
Wheelchair accessibility: Completely handicapped accessible everything is ADA compliant

Old school cafeteria for federal employees, but the general public is welcome (you will have to go through security). Great food, friendly service, classic lunch room ambiance. Unbeatable prices. If you know, you know. Try the fried fish sandwich!

Had couple good meals - The chef Salad was Very Good ... the Patty melt was good.... prices OK considering the recent inflationary issues... the basic tables / chairs / aged facility and flatware utensils position the cafe as a lower level family restaurant but it's OK. Our particular orders took a really long time to be served....
We stopped in because it wasn’t busy, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The salads were huge and very good (not just a giant plate of lettuce) and the drinks were excellent. Service was very friendly though a bit slow (I think they were understaffed) but that wasn’t enough to detract from our experience. Would go back.
The tuna melt is highly recommended. The burger was just ok. And service was very slow and not good. We had to go up to the bar to get a refill.

Neighborhood treasure with great food and service! A Cheers atmosphere with fabulous food! Chile, burgers and a traditional pub atmosphere.
People appear to be confusing this place with a restaurant located elsewhere. This place, at 550 Main St, is the cafeteria located in the J.W. Peck Federal Building.I have been here a handful of times for my lunch, and I'm sorry to say, I'm very disappointed in the quality of the food. If you've eaten public school cafeteria food before, the food here at Cafe Americana is very similar. I think they use the same supplier.
Restaurant half full. Refused to seat people. Totally ridiculous! I have watched a lot of Bar Rescue over the years....John Taffer would be livid! On the upside...the food is good and prices reasonable! A tip of the hat to the cooks! They totally crushed it while the wait staff stood around and sulked. Whoever owns this place should be pissed! Easily lost 2000 dollars in revenue tonight! Patrons we actually offering to help clean tables (me included) as was obvious the staff was slightly overwhelmed. The staff said they would get in trouble. It's a shame...I would have doubled my tip. Their loss!
... as Americano's website was inaccessible (just a few days after I checked it from home) & their other social media sites were very dated. So my wife & I walked a block from our hotel on a Monday night to their storefront to find out if they were still in business, with a backup dining plan a few blocks away. Lucky for us & the others drinking/dining there (and for future patrons), Americano was up & running. Prices are typical downtown scale, but the interior space is pleasant & comfortable for a business lunch or after-work gathering. The sole waitress was doubling as bartender. but she managed to keep up with service in double-time as did the small food prep staff. Our burgers were cooked to order (well done but still with good texture), with both the Americano Burger & Carolina BBQ Burger generously topped and among the best tasting we've had. We shared a side order of well-prepared & tasty sweet potato fries, and left with our bellies full & satisfied. Persistence paid off, and we would return.
Amazing wings. Tried the dry rub and the honey sriracha. Dry rub explodes with flavor but not overly spicy. Honey sriracha has some heat and just a touch of sweetness. Really loves that the sweet didn’t overpower the heat. Good beer selection, helpful servers.
