Whole Foods is great in many ways: fresh, beautiful produce and lots of of unique vegan offerings. It is generally pricey, though.
Their prepared foods department can make a vegan, cheese pizza for you. Just call ahead. On Fridays there is often an Amazon Prime deal for a $10 cheese pizza if you use the app.

it's okay here. I like coming on a rare occassion. It's too expensive for my budget, but I can find things on occasion that I can't find at my regular grocery store. I do like their deli and bakery sections since I can get smaller portions of things I'm interested in. They have a decent sushi selection and their salad bar is really nice. I have purchased a pound or so of their cookies on a few occassions.
My brother-in-law put me onto this place. First of all, I want to say I have not met a friendlier staff, from the meat department, bakery, and cashiers. The selection of foods is fanastic. Thirdly, it is a great place to eat (inside/outside). The salad bar is huge. The hot bar has interesting choices. Of course there's also desserts. Great place for a shop around.
Whole foods is great for home cooking vegan. For the on the go, they have vegan options but some of the flavors are off. For example, the mac n cheese is nutty. Just not our taste.
Thanksgiving turkey was dry & overcooked. 25 minute wait time for our meal.
Good place to stock up on frozen vegan veggie burgers and entrees. They have several non-dairy Amy's Kitchen meals.

They have good pre prepped food (pizza by the slice especially) and an incredible beer selection!
Now I don't go here to get my shopping done. I choose to do that at my local vegan shop, Park+Vine and the farmer's market (Findlay) near my home. But this is a great option at night for dinner and snacks when me and my bae are looking for healthy, non greasy food because a lot of the healthier vegan restaurants close before 10pm. We usually go to the deli case then grab kombucha, sparkling water or green juice. The last review about sub par bakery is right on point. Actually I pretty much agreed with everything they said. Friendly staff. Many I've seen around town. We usually get the kale salad and general tso vegan chicken. Be careful of salad bar price. Sometimes I rack up a 15 dollar salad without meaning to.
Friday night wine tastings are fabulous.
The organic salad bar and olive bar are incredible...
