I started going to this place and have liked it so far until today. I went in to order a smoothie, and they were not busy at this time compared to any other time I have come to the store. They took much longer to take my order than usual at the register, and didn't even greet me. After taking my order, i waited 17 minutes for a smoothie, seeing orders taken after mine that were much more complicated being fulfilled first. I ended up leaving because a 7 dollar smoothie should not take that long to make when your store is nearly empty. It didn't even appear that the two staff members up front were working on it which is why I left. Not everyone has 20 minutes to wait around for a smoothie, who knows how long I would have waited if i stayed. Unacceptable service especially after asking for a tip. I am from New York myself and this place does not compare to New York delis in terms of friendliness and service, nothing like it.

THIS PLACE. Top tier. As a UC student, this has always been my girls go to. I was close in clifton, so i had to try. The milnesa & turkey avocado were recommended to me & they did not disappoint. The small spice & blast of flavor from the warm ready fried chicken on the milnesa is impeccable. Honestly nothing better in clifton

Grabbed lunch from here. The lady with the pink hair was extremely rude. I said the “pastrami sandwich on rye please.” And she said “it’s called a pastrami sandwich on the menu.” Just very condescending. She needs to either take a customer service refresh or stay out of customer-facing business. One of the male cooks used the restroom and went back to the kitchen. I’m not sure he washed his hands and went back on the kitchen line.

The food is always good. I frequent the shop around lunch hour and sometimes even order delivery to my job. Today I had a terrible experience. I placed an online order for pickup at 10:50am I arrived to the shop at 11:30ish after receiving a notification that my order was ready for pickup, quoting a pickup time frame of 11:10-11:20. I understand that it was a busy time but when I inquired about my order, the person who helped me was very dismissive. She was the same person last time who told me my order was not ready yet, only for me to wait 20 extra minutes as my food sat on the counter getting cold. I hate to leave a review like this but it needs to be addressed and no one seemed to care about locating my order while I was standing here. I watched people come , order and go before my 10:50 order was fulfilled with no apology for the mix up or update on if my order was actually located or not. And i am glad that I opened the bag and checked because there was an item missing. I finally got my order at 12:24p. The gentleman who gave me my foods did apologize about the missing item.

Breakfast burrito is extremely overhyped. Loaded down with peppers and onions and immediately fell apart. It’s basically a breakfast fajita.
My wife and I finally got around to trying this place and we regret not having done so sooner. VERY good food and that’s coming from someone who considers themselves a relatively picky eater lol. We got the Philly Steak with Spicy Mayo, the New Yorker wrap, and the Chicken Shawarma over rice and let me put it this way, don’t be like us and wait to try this place cause you’re missing out. The storefront itself is super well kept and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely be stopping here more often. Can’t beat it for the price either!! 11/10 recommend

I came here to get a DoorDash they blatantly told me that I’d have to wait they minutes for it to be prepared while they continued to take and make orders of customers coming in and out of the deli it still took close to an hour for the order to be prepared horrible customer service

I gave the deli a try after it was recommended to me. I ordered the milanesa. While waiting I was seeing what other people were getting and it all looked mouthwatering.
When I finally got to try my sandwich it almost made me shed a tear! I'd eat ts off a flipflop. I'll be back again and will try something new. Plus they're all under $10.
Clean interior and polite employees as well.
