All dishes are tasty!
My family tried Sago for my Father’s Day dinner and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a small space so either get there early or be patient and grab a drink or two at one of the neighboring bars. I got the Nasi Lemak with beef rendang. Such wonderful, unique flavors! The flavor/texture combinations are outstanding and create a delicious meal. My wife got the BBQ pork noodles. Her meal looked very good and she said she was sad when it was over. Two full meals + three drinks, including a mango boba and Malaysian tea was $46, including tip. Very reasonable! We will definitely be back.
This place is small and the food was served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, however, the food is authentic and really flavorful. Prices were reasonable.
Not open the only days I could go, cool.
Stellar food. Some of the most authentic you'll find. There is limited seating though, but with where it is there is outdoor space all around to eat at.
Delicious, clean, affordable, no fuss, and no wait! The roti canai is so flaky crispy yet melts in your mouth. The duck and BBQ pork were succulent. It was clear everything was made in-house. I will definitely add this to the date nite rotation.
Sago was a wonderful experience with authentic Malaysian food. We had a great conversation with the chef as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for South East Asian food in Cincinnati!
Some of the best Malaysian food I've ever had! So authentic, and so delicious and fresh. If you have a chance to go here, you absolutely must go here. Make sure you get a barbecue pork bun, they are so good! Can't wait to go back!
YouTube suggested this Malaysian restaurant and I am glad that we drove to give a try. It is the best and authentic Malaysian restaurant I had so far. Server is so friendly and introduced food perfectly. Hot teh Tarik served with warm temperature so you could enjoy the drink right away, it is a sweet touch. Roti canai is good, sambal is spicy and lentil curry is good. Curry noodle has spicy kick with a touch of coconut milk and the chicken is nice. Noodle with bbq pork and wanton is delicious. Bbq pork is authentic and delicious. Nasi lemak with beef rendang doesn’t disappoint as well. Beef rendang is cook to perfection, tender with all the spice flavor blended perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you miss Malaysian food.

Had a fantastic Malaysian French inspired pastry that was soft and savory. It had a malayasian chicken curry stuffed in a soft and light dough. The waitress was kind and helpful and on top of it ???

Really nice atmosphere, friendly staffs. Food were excellent, we tried both Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and rendang. Came with rice, mild and very flavorful sambal, cut up cucumbers and picked vegetables. Very delicious! Takes hour and a half hour drive from Frankfort, KY but it’s very well worth it.
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. Flavorful food and very nice and knowledgeable staff.
Dietary restrictions: Many vegetarian and vegan options.

We were out walking in Mount Lookout and decided to give this place a try. Tasty tasty food! We got the seared pork dumplings, Mapo Tofu, and Assam Laksa. Everything was great and our server Jackie was lovely!

Didn't much care for their version of beef rendang - much, much better over in Greensburg, IN. I DID like the Hainanese chicken rice and that would be what I get again, if I can stand to dodge the terrible parking and traffic situation around there to get it - spent 15+ minutes looking for a spot to spend five minutes going in to pick up the order. Also thought their stupid anti-gun sign was just that - no one intent on causing harm is going to pay it any mind, so stop virtue signaling.

We love the place! Food is always on point and I love that they have both veggie and pickle varieties. The pork is super crispy and tasty, it might be a bit salty if you usually eat bland like me but the rice and veggies balance it out.
