My family tried Sago for my Father’s Day dinner and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a small space so either get there early or be patient and grab a drink or two at one of the neighboring bars. I got the Nasi Lemak with beef rendang. Such wonderful, unique flavors! The flavor/texture combinations are outstanding and create a delicious meal. My wife got the BBQ pork noodles. Her meal looked very good and she said she was sad when it was over. Delicious, clean, affordable, no fuss, and no wait! The roti canai is so flaky crispy yet melts in your mouth. The duck and BBQ pork were succulent. It was clear everything was made in-house. I will definitely add this to the date nite rotation.
Sago was a wonderful experience with authentic Malaysian food. We had a great conversation with the chef as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for South East Asian food in Cincinnati!
