First time eating at the Woodstock, GA location.
Pulled Pork Sandwich: Loaded with meat but no sauce made it difficult to eat. Ended up pouring the juice from the BBQ beans on the meat which made it bette but not the same.
BBQ Beans: Excellent flavor and texture. I had to fight my dog as the aroma peaked his hunger pains.
Okra: Disappointed with the serving size, not even filling up the small container. The okra was soggy as well dispite it looking like it was going to be crunchy.
Peach Cobbler: I'll have this every time I come back. Delicious flavor with a hint of cinnamon in the crust. The peaches were large and the whipped cream was a nice touch to whip into the mixture. I broke this into 3 separate desserts so I could spread out the enjoyment over 3 days.
While there is improvement, I know some things to ask for when I order next time. I'll also try something beside the okra next time.

Lexington, KY City Barbeque is dirty and old. Ordered a beer while we waited and it was so warm I couldn’t finish it. The young lady that took our order was nice. The food is ok now. It used to be great. Won’t come back!

City BBQ in Grand Rapids is becoming an ill managed mess. Dining room nearly empty on a Friday evening because they are so slow. The line took forever and many just leave instead of waiting any longer. It took 50 minutes to get our food and the dining room was only 25 percent occupied.

You order at the front counter and slide down the line to receive. Service was fast and I saw a few smiles. Food was tasty. I had a pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. The pork had a nice smoky flavor and the potato salad tasted homemade.
The new Acworth location is a nice store but save your money. I am disabled and retired and spending $68 for 2 should be very good. After the first experience was no good i gave it another shot 4 weeks later. Another $68 wasted. I wish I got my money back cause I couldn't afford to be disappointed twice and my wife as well. The pulled chicken was awful and slimy. The beef brisket was gopd and well seasoned. The pulled pork was blah. Zieglers and BarBCutie is better. The ribs were not that good. Turkey was ok and sausage was a bit peppery. Now the side were not good. Twice the fries were limp and dark from what it looked like being reheated day old fries. They were not fresh cut and fresh cooked. corn casserole think tasted good but seemed to be overcooked or reheated as well as the corn pieces were so dried out and made it not so good. Cole slaw was good. Mac and cheese was horrible and no flavor. The best item they had was the banana pudding which is worth the drive to juat get that dessert. This place will go out of business eventually. Worst BBQ I've ever had and I owned 3 restaurants. I tried yo give it a chance but it was consistently just awful and wasn't even worth half the price. Nice staff and very clean and neat atmosphere. So sad. Go to Zeiglers. Its much better. BarBCutie has gone down hill also.
