Stopped by for the first time just hoping for a couple of quick drinks. Place was dingey. They had some fold out chairs on the deck to sit on. Seemed like only one person was working and they were not in any hurry at all to help anyone. we just walked out after we stood for 10 mins waiting for water

My husband and I went here to grab a quick bite to eat - it took them 45 minutes for two burgers. There was only two other people in the joint the whole time.

Great view of the city and a great burger from the first bite to the last. Thanks Sam!

Dirty and dingy left before the stained bartender could take our food order.

There was only one person working there and and I couldn't imagine how it would be possible to get a meal much less a beer in any kind of reasonable time frame. Ended up leaving.

Quiet little burger joint with a beautiful view. The burger was juicy. The bartender didn't listen very well with the condiments, but I won't complain. The view was immaculate. The patrons there were nice and welcoming. I'll go again when I am on that side of town.

Parking: Street parking. Mostly residential.

This was the perfect stop to catch up with some old friends from Cincinnati over a beer. It offers an incredible view of Downtown on the outdoor patio, but has a casual and relaxed atmosphere -- I've been jaded by places great views making you pay the price in pretentiousness. This place isn't one of them! It felt familiar and welcoming, in no small part because of the warm and friendly service. The place was super clean - including the bathrooms. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'll try the food.

Went out last night with friends to celebrate starting at city view tavern. We’ve never been and only heard good things. We were surprised to see how the local bar with great views of the city could have such a rude staff when we were 6 of maybe 15 people in the bar at its busiest! When asked for shots we’re we’re rudely told “I don’t know how to make anything, so just pick a bottle and il pour it!” After deciding to leave to explore other bars the next day was the worst. We were told by friends to check our card statements because they were all charged $200. After thinking as to why we were at a total loss as all bars typically charge $1 until the bill goes through. We along with friends tried reaching out to the bar when then after a lengthy process to even get contact, a discussion with a woman of unknown title, we were never told I’m sorry for the inconvenience or how can I keep your business type of attitude. As a whole group we are convinced there is some type of scam going on if you pay with cards! We were told they could only see our bills and give us explanations of the situation if we gave name and card numbers…. I don’t think that’s how it works.

The drinks were a very light pour, the burgers are decent, but the $200 hold on my bank account with zero notification from the staff, plus the $80 for my bill is ridiculous. The only sign I saw about credit cards was a minimum charge of something like $15.

This place has possibly the best view of the City in town. But is rundown, need a modern uplift. Very limited drinks. I wanted a Cabernet and lady offered me a $cheap $5.99 watery wine.
