Such a wonderful down home experience with great people, including staff and guest. There's a lot of locals that come here and there's a lot of history to be learned about this structure and community definitely recommend stopping in food is delicious.

We were very disappointed. We chose to try this place due to the high reviews. The outside looks great, and at a first glance so does the inside but..the carpet is old and stained, there was old food bits stuck to the wall of our booth, a dusty spider web that ran from the booth light up the wall, and just an overall dusty dingy appearance once you start actually taking it all in....so it wasn't clean enough for us.
We watched everyone get baskets of bread, but we didn't, when we asked all we got was 2 little pieces on a little plate. Other than giving us our food, the waitress never offered refills, we had one glass of pop each to last our whole meal.. and after she gave us our plates..she never came back until we were done. Terrible service.
And the food...the bread was actually really good, the tiny cup of chicken corn soup was delicious even though there was barely any chicken in it, the mashed potatoes were just wonderful.... but the steak was dreadful. We wasted more than half of it each. A medium steak should not have a solid red center top to bottom with cold spots... and since the waitress never came back at all.. we muscled through what we could and wasted the rest.
Just not a very good experience considering the reviews, and especially for the cost at $40 a Steak Plate. Maybe it was a random unfortunate food situation for us, but the cleanliness of the place and terrible service won't bring us back.
Also, it was a bit awkward having some of the other customers stare at us like we didn't belong there, like we were sitting in their booth or something, it was just awkward.

What a great place, Pam is awesome 👍🏽
Really enjoyed our experience here. The interior is well decorated and also have pictures that details the building's past as a schoolhouse. The bookcase on the back wall was beautiful.
Our food was absolutely delicious. The meatball appetizer was very tasty. Will definitely come back.

Everything we had was delicious. Service was great. We really appreciated how a piece of history an 1800s school house has been preserved and now serves as a bistro. It also has beautiful woodwork inside, a bar and a large outdoor seating area with a nice little putting green. Would definitely recommend

Been coming here for years. New ownership now, but it is still a great place to go. Quality food. Try the homemade soups. Great mixed drinks.

What a beautiful find! We were lucky enough to find Clough Crossing with a Google search while we were in the area. The refurbished schoolhouse is charming, and the outdoor seating area a is wonderful-comfortable and sheltered from road noise. The food was great-elevated pub fare and an excellent selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Service was the best part of all! The staff took a genuine interest in our group of competitive rowers (and their parents) from Maryland. Highly recommend!
