College Hill Coffee Co. and Casual Gourmet

The coffee was stellar and the staff was nice. The scone was excellent. And I can't get over how good the coffee was. I gave some as a gift to somebody and they raved about it as well.

Unfortunately product is very hot and miss. Was served a caramel macchiato missing the caramel and espresso shot, essentially steamed milk. And my wife was served a spiced chai with minimal chai. We were the last to be served for the day and they closed.up.behind us so could not do anything about the poor product. We love to support local but it can be hard when the products you receive are missing the main ingredients that make them what they are!

Do not patronize this business. We witnessed, on more than one occasion, the owner herself treating her employees with disrespect. She is not nice to her customers either. Sad, because this could be a really nice place if your were treated nicely and it didn't sell so much offensive merchandise. Nothing like walking into a business and seeing the "F" word plastered over merchandise and witch craft items being sold.

First off, food and coffee were excellent. I also thought it was a neat store with cool things.However, the vibe and staff were just kinda off. We didn't have masks on and my wife and I both agreed we got ignored by the baristas over it. After a while the owner (i think) came out and took care of us and she was very nice.

Although the shop is adorable, the service is lacking! The quiche was not good partcialy warm/cold and the crust was too soft!

Once I saw the tarot cards and other new age objects, I decided not to buy anything from the gift shop. The coffee and food were decent.

terrible experience if you show up when the boss is in a mood. she also abuses and takes advantage of her employees, and the people waiting your tables and serving your food and drinks don’t get to keep the tips you give them. the tips go into a pool meaning your money is not going to the person who helped you.do NOT support this business.

I don't mind wearing a mask but as soon as we entered they were yelling at me and my friends to put a mask on and then almost made my friend cry when her mask started sliding down and got yelled at even after she spent a bunch of money in the shop. Do not go here. Terrible to customer service.

The atmosphere was the best, with only take out and mask mandate, it’s an overprice pseudo bakery. Never again

Walked in for a double shot of espresso and cinnamon roll but was met with an instant attitude. Found out later it was the owner herself. She shouldnt have a business if she cant be good to her customers. Disappointed to have to deal with such a truly awful person first thing in the morning.

I write this review on 9/12/2022. This place still requires masks (which is fine, I suppose - it's their private business), and they also still don't allow anyone to sit inside. Given the fact that this is literally the only place I know of still acting this way, I find the experience frustrating.

Anti Vaccine here apparently. OR CDC guidelines.Tried to give a local company some business, figured I'd try.Not after all the signs.

Wonderful little shop and cafe. Good coffee, good bakery, and a great selection of trinkets and knick-knacks to shop around for. Huge selection of Charlie Harper merch. Will be returning here regularly.

No indoor seating and it's a coffee shop. It makes absolutely zero sense. Based on the recent Google reviews on this place, I guess they don't care about having a good business model.

Seeing all the reviews of people complaining about wearing masks is a bit heartbreaking... The owner or even the staff could have issues where it could risk their well-being to be sick. We are still in a pandemic, people are still dying from Covid; wearing a piece of fabric on your face while you're ordering isn't a huge deal. The coffee and food is delicious :) I plan on bringing my friends!
